Watching CPU Michael Jordan jump this passing lane made me realize how much I'd love for defenders to be able to do things like this on a more regular basis.

Kinda crazy we've come all these years in 2K without a solid lane-jumping option (instead, passes more often cruise right past our hands and faces on interception attempts).

^The only thing missing from that clip is having an animation where many fans stand up when a player has a clear path breakaway dunk.

I don't know if I've ever seen a more organic trip-and-fall in a basketball video game before.

The coolest part was his slow down before the dunk. That organic as ****!!

Tip-ins seem improved with the last couple of patches. The two-hand catch, half alley-oop, half floater animations have driven me crazy for years. Now, I see more animations with one hand tipping the ball closer to the rim. I do not want the other animations to stop, but they are more Sports Center Play Of The Day or Week, and should not happen as frequently.

I gotta give kudos to the job they did on the All-Star game. Everyone played and both teams shot good. Not a lot of D. Best All-Star game I’ve played. First time I can remember any sports game doing it right.

My GM/current era. I play 1 sim 4. Hit the all star game tonight. Was surprised how they rotated guys. Sone guys didn’t get a ton but they at least got near 10 minutes and highs were upper. 20s.

Also lots of good shooters and my sliders may have contributed to scoring. Not as high as real life but final was 133-115. I was down 7 and they scored 11 straight to end it. They also do the correct scoring where they set a final number instead of timed.

Just to give an idea of my skill level and how I play. All-Star Base. Outside shooting MidRange:55 3's:60 Inside and close 45 for CPU and 42 & 44 for Me. Also shot coverage 15 and shot timing 0. I use real % except for the Free throws I do user otherwise I shoot over 95% every game.

CPU I have take mid range 100 everything else as is for shooting. Fouls everything at 100 for HUM & CPU except reach in at 70. I can't do a ton with the sticks I just randomly push direction and do moves, haha. at 60 for 3 CPU good shooters can be tough. So in the All-Star Game with all those good 3 point shooters it was crazy.

Yes this looks amazing. I'm with you they need to add a little bit more of this. I've never seen such a clean steal like that.

I didn't know you could throw the ball back in. Or maybe I did and never seen it before. I was like holy **** [emoji23]. True hustle play from the block to the save to 3 pointer. My only negative is after watching it. The play by play on the situation was kind of weak. I kind of expected more. But it was a blow out at that point.

I've been quite fond of the ability to complete manual give-and-go's in transition this year, aka the give-it-up-and-get-it-back play.

It happened to me in a game it was great as a bulls player. I am trying to find the video on my channel when it happened but impossible to find it.

For the slow down I don’t think it was necessary in my opinion.
I know Jordan did a slow down sometimes before dunking but in this situation i don't think it was necessary.
The main reason is the paint is too much small in 2k games and the defender can come back more easily to disturb your action.

                                The extensive last name database.

2K really has no business having that many last names read into the database by Kevin Harlan and company. But lo and behold, just when you think you've got a player obscure enough to slip past, you realize the game does, in fact, recognize Michael Ansley and Russ Schoene.

So, shout out to 2K and shout out to Kevin Harlan for literally reading the NBA Phone Book.
