I'll defend a pass so well the opponent will bobble the catch at the out of bounds mark and take 5 steps to corral the ball whilst not actually moving so he stays in bounds lol always cracks me up.

That and when the coach all the sudden decides the best play to run is 40year old Udonis Haslem getting the ball in the mid-post for a turnaround fadeaway 5x a game (0-5).

• Players stats being completely and wildly fake during half time reports in My NBA
• The fact that many teams are missing their statement Jerseys in MyNBA (ex: You can use Brooklyns in Play Now, can't in MyNBA)
• The fact that the Hawks Arena Graphics and Fan signs still use the electric Yellow coloring that they haven't used in 2 seasons now

Loose balls.

They've always been a bit wonky but after taking a few years off from 2K I notice that now there's an extreme tendency for a guy standing right over a ball to be completely unable to pick-up said ball, leading to a multi-player scrum where the offensive player swoops in and magically recovers, usually yielding an open layup as a result.



I have a hard enough time forcing organic looking turnovers as it is, it's particularly crushing when I watch one literally slip through three of my player's fingers.

Yup.

No idea why 2K keeps on rewarding bad decisions and bad basketball.

Its really a shame

The game could still be so much better.

I absolutely do hate that - just watching that you knew they were going to get it back, then they actually miss, then they also get the offensive rebound and the put back.

That whole scenario ultimately pointless and happens at least once a game lol.

I've always attributed it to a coding in the game to lower the CPU's FG% and Shots made, instead of them scoring on 65% of their attempts it shows 48% but then there's the daunting 15 Offensive Rebounds and 25 second-chance points to my 7 offensive rebounds and 6 second-chance points lol

It's improved a bit over the years, but sometimes it feels like they just turned the volume louder without really finding a sufficient crowd logic and quality fix.

Last night I kicked off the fourth quarter at home by cashing in on a three-point play to cut my deficit to five. It was a pretty big deal considering the hole I climbed out of. Except it was met with crickets.

I always assumed someone created an audio system for 2K over a decade ago and hardwired as such that it's just too complicated to fully rectify and modernize without complete destruction and starting from scratch.

One thing annoying I find in 2K is moving around the City. It sucks and the lag/low framerate does not help. It's also bad say if you had a skateboard (or any form of transportation) equipped and you run into the wall, it's a struggle to get out because you can't simply get off or go backwards.

I 100% feel this. I don't even know how long, but this has been a long time complaint of mine. It's just crazy to me to also see the crowd stand in silence at home after hitting a big shot in clutch time. It kills the immersion and excitement of playing a bit for me. I'm hoping we get some sort of audio trailer next year showing off improved crowd noise lol

I’m really curious/baffled by how something you would think is a relatively simple fix for them, is still an issue.

Like this goes back almost a decade+ and I don’t understand why they’ve struggled to fix it. They gotten every other issue corrected in this series for the most part, but not having the crowd react to certain moments late in the game is the one they can’t get right at all? Seems wild to believe that but here we are unfortunately.

The only thing that annoys me is that all modern teams I faced and used seem to be using the same Freelance set "4-1 something". Not all teams play the same system, although I understand that modern NBA focuses on spreading the floor and playing only 1 big. There should still be differentiation among the teams.
