We're really getting close to having a good game, I think. I can really feel the contact this year, so it's even kind of fun playing vs the computer.


Unfortunately, immersion breakers still happen, for instance:

Standing dunks.

Finally seeing more of them this year

Except 2K was overly friendly with the Rise Up badge. Now Jarrett Allen is power dunking like Shaq over people. Mobley too.

Removing the handoff pass - holding circle supposed the player to go close around you for a pass now is moving away from you like the lead pass.

They didn't remove it. It is a setting you can change back to DHO.

i hate this type of pass as well as the behind the head pass in very traffic situation and yet the receiver still get it.

My controller settings resetting every time I restart my system.

Yikes! It gets me on the reset after patches and sometimes randomly. I go into a rec game and brick my first shot as a N/A release and I know I can't do anything because my whole play style depends on player release lol. It's like gfg.

I'm maybe 20-ish games into NBA 2K23 and I'm finding that the CPU team is always in "Limit Transition". It's all the time. I'm crushing defensive rebounds but getting almost no transition baskets. It's not a game breaker but it's a bit of an irritant. It's one adjustment I NEVER see ACE make. Happy to give up on offensive rebounds even if they have a size mismatch.

The only other thing is you don't see the CPU hunting mismatches. That's more of a technical limitation I am sure - but it's weird to not see the Mavericks hunting the weakest link in an offense and exploiting it, though that's relatively minor

Yea I took a L tryin to figure out a new shot meter + had a weird colored triangle under my dude heh. It’s obv rando trash.

At transition, it’s cheesy but I’m always throwing wide outlets so your guy curls. I dunno if u can diagonal lead but like up right or up left. I just lead my guy to where he will be most open and then score the break. Sometimes cpu gets it but more often they catch. If timing is always right they catch.

- that you dont See the Jerseys in the jersey selection screen in online League games (again after this Was already an issue in 2k21 and then fixed in 2k22)


- that i have to disable ACE everytime i start an online game, it always reverts to "offense and defense"

How all players are so ambidextrous to the degree/extent that half the shots/dunks that they take around the basket is with their off hand is ridiculous. It's been my biggest pet peeve of all throughout the years, and I think this is something that goes all the way back to the original 2K on Dreamcast. And it extends all the way out to the perimeter when you see a right-handed a player in the high-post that does a turnaround left-handed "push" shot with one hand.


Yes, they are pros, but a very small percentage of them are so skillful, let alone bold enough, skilled enough to try opposite handed jumpshots in a game (Larry, Kobe, and Steph come to mind). The greatest finisher of them all Michael Jordan who had limitless ways of finishing around the rim with either hand could finish with a running left-handed dunk off of one foot -- but, even then it wasn't with the ferocity & equaled athleticism they he could with the right hand. And before you naysayers & contrarians chime in about how realistic it is because so & so could use both hands, blah blah blah --- Yeah, of course, there are exceptions --- guys like Larry Johnson, Kendall Gill could dunk the ball with both hands very skillfully... My point is, it was/is rare. And 2K basically gives this skill to EVERYONE ...


Anyways, I'll be honest this is falling on deaf ears, this has been in the game for 24 years now, and they won't ever take it out.

I totally agree and it’s an eye sore. Even if 2K doesn’t address this issue they should add a slider or rating for off-hand shooting so that the % of the ball going in is a lot less if players use their off hand.
