Yep. I had Alonzo Mourning go down with a left hip injury in my first LeBron Era game.

can you manually override dunk contest and 3 pt contest players in mynba?

Looks like in create a draft class there's a lot of the general dunk packages that you can't select even though they're still in the game, and 2k won't fix this because all the my player mutants are more important to them

It depends on your staff

No it does not depend on your staff. I tested the recovery rate with an F sports medicine staff with no badges.. 2 days of recovery time per day was the minimum. That means at minimum every injury will heal in half the time.

When editing a created/generated player you can now manually set their body type. Why not mention these little stuff in a dev diary is beyond me.


Body Shape Options for Generated Players are:
Lanky (2 options for lanky), Slender, Slim, Strong, Jacked, Athletic, Buff, Stocky, Large, Swole, Solid, Defined, Burly, Built, Slight, Compact, Standard, Thin, Average, Lightweight, Ripped, Normal, Muscular, Flexible, Chiseled, Regular.


These alter muscle definition, shoulder size, and chest width and length

They have crossplay for roster files and draft classes. I think which is a cool add on..

I got it because of the fixes I saw in this thread. Here's what I see in the create a draft class specifically:



The Good:
- There's a ridiculous amount of motion styles and generated players are generated with different motion styles. Last year everyone came out with Basic. This should make generated rookies more unique in longer MyNBA saves.
- Names are accurate to the country the generated player is from.
- There's a few new hair styles.
- Some of the old hair styles got graphical updates that make them look more realistic.
- Intriguing new badges will allow for more uniqueness (94 ft, Fast feet, immovable enforcer)
- You can now see wingspan and height in create-a-draft class next to the player's picture.



The Bad

- Generated Draft Classes still have black dudes with blonde hair and blue eyes.
- Even though you can see wingspans without clicking in to each player individually it would be nice if you could quick edit and sort by wingspan in create-a-draft class mode
- 10 file save limit for non 2k share file
- Not sure why but we're still getting generated guys named "Dick" in 2023 the year of our lord...

Roster Related Notes: if you want a good laugh look at the 2010 era New Jersey Nets rating. That was one of the worst teams in NBA history yet somehow Kris Humphries is an 80 and the barely playable rookie Dereck Favors is a 78...


- In coaching staff we still can't edit the names or faces of the fake GMs.

They took out draft and stash wasn't in 23 either. Don't know why?

I remember that, likely because there was a major bug with it. It was causing mynba modes to freeze, so you couldn't advance.

Most likely. They just removed the option to edit it.

That's my theory on why MYNBA has so many bugs in it.

They can't fix it some of it because it blended in with ERAS.

I even took a look at WNBA mynba and some bugs show up there. Like the Facilities bug.

Or their QA process went to trash? The bugs you see are noticeable anybody can see it.

That's why MYNBA lite exists now. Which is a waste of resources IMO.

The "can only sign rookies to extensions in summer before fourth season" finally effin' works. Click the eligible player in roster viewer, negotiate contract appears as one of the options.

This is what I'm also very interested in if someone could please test.

In 2k23 you could only trade pick swaps in the trade finder. Can you propose a pick swap from the regular trade window in 2k24?

Trading pick swaps seems to be the same as last year. Only able to do so via trade finder
