So basically I just finished talking with my guy and he said it’s a ton of red tape on shoes, has to be approved by the brands, they cannot create colorways with out brand approval. Brett sucks and the higher ups basically don’t care because it doesn’t affect the overall goals of the game. It’s a struggle to get him to do his job already and then asking things of him get ignored. Updated accessories he believes is tasked to someone else who doesn’t really care. So until they add a shoe share option we have to do the work and shoes updates are whenever they decide to add them.

So a lot of the workplace toxicity and complacency that exists anywhere in the USA. Sucks that either the grind or just 'boredom' causes them to become apathetic to such a 'cool' (in our eyes) job. *Sigh*

Plus, that finally sticks the nail in the coffin of why certain shoes (and multiple colorways) aren't added. It's completely at the discretion of THE BRANDS and not just 2K being lazy.

I'm sure there are passionate nerds/sneakerheads amongst people in that workplace, but red tape and it being a 'lesser priority' (which doesn't make sense cause they could charge money/VC for better/more accurate colorways than we can create [emoji2377]) means it isn't gonna happen.

My thought too was I'm surprised they don't charge VC to unlock certain sneakers because they're so much into charging VC for everything.

It would be nice to have more colorways in the game, but honestly I don't mind editing them. The ones that bother me are the ones I have to recreate every season (retro Kobes, Jordans, etc), which is why I wished there would be an option to bring over shoes you've previously created.

I have a question. I just started a my career so I could unlock some shoes I created to use in other modes. I saw the rare some other color ways in there as well. When I unlock them do are they just to use in my career or do I get to use them in other modes as well? Thanks

What other modes do you mean? You don’t have to unlock shoes in myleague/era’s. Almost everthing is available for free, even the colorways you make.

If you buy shoes/custom colorways in mycareer then they’re just for mycareer.

I don’t know much about myteam.

The last patch update we got on October 10th, we ended up getting two shoes the next day and then another batch the following day. So I still have some hope that we get some new additions tomorrow. Also, a lot of the updates from these patches don't fully go into effect until the next roster update.
