- They get KD, this is also the season before the 2017 NBA Draft

MyGM and MyNBA are totally different type of modes though. Glad that they are bringing it back for you cause thats really important on your end and thats whys they did it.

There were some RPG elements that were missed in MyNBA but they just created MyGM back for those that solely want it as the part of their game. MyNBA Seems to have been put to the way side after so much work done in 2k23.

Alot of ppl just needs some more polish for MyNBA, but they left dust still there to work on another work in progress.

With as much tracking data as there is now, you'd think the 2k team would be better at setting player ratings and tendencies. Instead you have Isaiah Hartenstein taking 5 threes a game and Trae Young averaging 30 a game on 52% shooting.

But by far the biggest problem is the player movement. CPU trades have no basis in reality, FA contacts are all wrong and teams will regularly sign two to three players at the same position or with the same play style.

This mode is unplayable after one or two seasons, which is why I end up usually just doing a fantasy draft instead of the real thing. And they're never going to fix it because they're already making too much money ripping off ******* MyPark players.

To this, I'm not sure if it was because I was more easily impressionable, but I have a feeling the 360/PS3 era was much more realism on simulation-to-stat when going through the year-by-year.

But when I recall silly 2K updates back in November of 2010, causing Chris Smoove's Greg Oden from the 1st opening day roster to score like 50 points a game, maybe it's always been a recurring stapled issue after all.

I feel like this is an issue with pretty much every sports game that relies on team building though. It would be extremely difficult to code this sort of stuff as roster management and strategy has so many variables.

That said, agree the mode pretty much requires you to have trade approval on and take charge of every team for a lot of the offseason tasks to get a sustainable franchise world, which is unfortunate.

At least gives us 50 years of created Draft class saves and AI intelligence slider for CPU drafting,trades, signing, ect...
