The only caveat with PC is that the roster editor won't be out right away, so for maybe a few months PC will only have a mild edge on console from an editing standpoint. Still though, we typically have to wait a few months for these rosters to drop anyway.

They didn't. They already announced that the new era is the Steph Era.

I'm not a big slider aficionado so I'm not sure my answer will do a lot for you. I did not use anyone's specific slider package; instead I just focused on the things that bothered me personally (stonewall defense, most significantly).
I think we’re in a similar boat on sliders. Did you do anything with playbooks, etc or you just left it up to the CPU?

Hopefully rosters are cross-platform compatible. Or at least console > PC. PC > console might break due to custom graphics.

I’d be very surprised if PC is cross-platform with console for rosters, unfortunately. It’s not about custom graphics, since graphics aren’t embedded in a roster file; it’s more that you can edit way more stuff on PC, some of which 2K may not want you to edit (like changing cyberface IDs to re-enable cyberfaces for players who are technically in the game files, but who 2K may have lost the licensing for, like Brandon Roy). There are lots of things too that if you edit incorrectly can indeed cause crashes, corrupted saves, and other sorts of dysfunction. As much as I’d love fully cross-platform rosters, I get why it’s probably not going to happen.

myera music could work similarly to their player licensing that some would be harder to obtain (if the artist is requiring more than what they'll pay for/any sort of controversy), but others would be easily retainable every year if they mess around with 2k like that still

I'm like 97% done making 20-song playlists for every year from 1946-47 (first in NBA history) to the present, with no songs appearing in more than one playlist (except "The Twist", which was a weird double hit in two separate years). I made them to be used in-game as a mod, but I can share the Spotify playlists if they are of interest to others (for instance, if consoles may have a Spotify background-music option; I don't know if they do).

                    Nice.

I didn’t even realize it was something I wanted until I experienced it with UBR.

                    Adds to the experience.

I've gotten into the habit of using Spotify playlists that coincide with the year I'm in during each Era offseason. For instance, in the 1995 offseason, I listened to a 1995 Alternative playlist during the draft, free agency, edits, etc. It's actually been pretty amazing, especially as the years go by, transitioning from '80s electro pop to New Jack Swing to the grunge.

Anything that makes you feel like the world's changing around you is a win in my book when it comes to this mode.

I'm taking about music that was played in NBA Arenas during that era

                        For example:

90's- Pum up the Jam (Bulls love this song during timeouts!

2000- I forgot what songs but I'm pretty sure you get the point

Presumably you can't make a mod to replace the arena/in-game broadcast music?

                              You can. I co-created one for 2K22: https://forums.nba-live.com/viewtopi...f=272&t=113707

...and people continued using it on 2K23 and 2K24.

It may or may not continue to work on 2K25, but the general principle it uses to function ought to remain effective.

Preview video of the 2K22 one:

I got a idea💡 that would be major!

After each season you get a prompt message that says " Do you want replicate real life rosters?
Click yes and it will automatically put every player,
Free agent, rookie, coaches ect.. will be assigned to their real life respective teams from that year
                                🔥🔥🔥🔥
