The rim and net physics look soooooooo much better look at that Jamal Murry jumpshot that rattled in the rim.

Dribbling and shooting system is giving that NBA Live vibe which isn't bad definitely gotta see hands on.

Floor spacing and player ratio looks to be finally fixed we gotta see some broadcast cam footage to confirm that tho.

Overall I'm liking what I'm seeing so far from the footage hopefully the arena sounds are much better than last year I'm happy we finally have arena specific lighting.

Possibly the 2 best aspects of Live's gameplay so no complaints here.

Now if only they could tap into Live's atmosphere and court/arena accuracy.

That is 2k Achilles heel
You try to get answers about the Audio atmosphere and they get Scooby Doo on you

The fact that Live 10 started it and 2k won't even improve theirs speaks volumes
MY guess would be it's a high cost issue

I saw the video and didn't notice an updated face render. Where in the video is his face visible cause all I see is the back of his head?

And 2K/Ronnie are still trying to get Edwards in for a scan (*******es should've offered him the cover to entice to get scanned for 2K25), but like Westbrook - and a few others - he's just either too busy or refuses.

I see his render looks miles better than last year, but an actual face scan would be even better. I hope they did some polishing up of Westbrook's render too.

That isnt a 2k problem, thats Edwards problem. He gotta figure it out and get that done. 2k been trying to update it as much as possible but if he not doing what he need to get done to be in the game properly, its on him.

That isnt a 2k problem, thats Edwards problem. He gotta figure it out and get that done. 2k been trying to update it as much as possible but if he not doing what he need to get done to be in the game properly, its on him.

We need to accept that scans are out of the hands of 2K and developers of sports game. They can't force players to get scanned.

Where I do think it's fair to criticize 2K is when they don't make adjustments to their faces or scans. Like if they left Ant completely untouched, it's fair to question why they didn't attempt to improve his cyberface. But in this case, that updated it and it's better than what we had before. Obviously not perfect but I'll always welcome improvement or at least effort to improve. It's when they don't even try that gets me frustrated.

People need to remember that the 2020 draft class was in a very unique predicament. That was the COVID season, so I doubt (from looking at James Wiseman and Anthony Edwards' renders) that 2K was ever able to get them in for a scan (no prospect Combine or Summer League that season) in totality like previous classes.


Now, they are in the situation where it's at Edwards' discretion and he isn't a 'video game hooper' - like Russell Westbrook might not be, which is why he's always had obvious render - so getting a proper scan isn't a priority.

It sucks for us and to a lesser extent 2K, but they have good artists (former community member Rzor) that can do good handcrafted renders. That probably takes time and resources away from things the higher ups deem 'more important.'

And that new render might "suck" to some people, but it still looks miles better than the previous cyber face. It also looks like they gave him a better skin complexion and body type too.

i really like the body movements when driving and everything looks fluid. i just wonder is A.I smarter on defense cause i really dont see it, but its probably the difficulty

Something that might seem small to others but is a big deal to me is the side bend animation on drives towards the basket. I've wanted to see that in 2k for years.

Isn't it ironic that the first Visual Concepts developed basketball game was called NBA Fastbreak
