I'm getting plenty of CPU timeouts, is it an issue for you guys? What modes? I've only played Play Now but I get the CPU to call timeouts whenever I go on a bit of a run or if I stop them 3+ times in a row.

I'd take it rather than not using it at all. It's not like they spend all the time out for the last 3 min.

OK, I’m going with the ace philosophy and I used these sort of tools last year to help rotations. I’m seeing pretty good stuff again. I didn’t invent this. I got this from somebody too.

Your rotations are five minute increments and no player should play over 35 minutes with five minute increments nor two players have the same amount of minutes in your starting lineup.

No more than 2 players can have the same amount of minutes for starters.

I’m still seeing some strangeness with cpu when set to rotation for subs. Curry played the entire 1H and then almost the entire 2H. I’m getting good subs otherwise outside of Curry. Melton is his backup and assigned minutes in rotation. I could not get Ace to sub properly so I turned that off post patch

Hot Streak on ACE keeps them in. Would go back to rotation if you’re struggling with that

Sorry should have clarified. I did go back to rotation as I saw ACE kept them in on hot streak. Even with rotation Curry played 45 min (I manually subbed him out for 3 min). Any idea how to prevent this. Lineup performance and bench usage were at 50. He showed 32 min in coach game plan.

Can someone check if this workaround for the rotation timeline works:

1. Create and save a rotation timeline in MyNBA
2. Load a roster in the main menu of the game for quick play.
3. Go to the rotation of the team you edited in MyNBA and load the saved rotation
4. Back out of the timeline and keep changes

Last year, there were no issues with rotation timelines in MyNBA as far as I could tell and these steps would make them work in quick play as well. If they don't even work in MyNBA this year, we've got a new problem.

ACE subs players out all the time on hot streaks. That was the specific issue addressed in the last patch. I’m guessing there’s something up with the Warriors’ rotation or roster that’s causing the issue.

So I was testing something today and right before the game, I clicked on the CPU who I’m playing against to check out their settings and it’s always going to be set to Ace. If you want better substitution patterns, change it to rotation before the game starts and then click your controller back onto the team you’re using.

I use ACE as well. The subs are better. But playing against the Warriors, Curry played entire game. And against the Knicks, Brunson played entire game as well...

Any ideas??? I play 9min quarters btw. Thanks in advance!

Can you do this on Play Now? Im on PS5. I do not see the option to change the CPU's settings. Please let me know. Thanks!

I had same issue playing on 12 minute quarters with ACE on for the CPU. Certain teams it won’t sub out still post patch. Curry and Bronson had issues on the games I played. I now go into the CPU during game via their coach settingsand change their sub method to rotation and cpu subs properly.

It depends on the game, and if the player is playing well. I have played the Heat and sometimes Bam will play a whole half and 45 minutes of 48. Then other games he will play 36 minutes.

Same thing with Donovan Mitchell.

If a good player with high stamina catches fire, there is a chance he will play the entire half

Do you just switch the controls to CPU and change settings? And switch back to your team?
