Good to hear, i'll try another one when i can have a break from work with a full system reboot. Aside from lebron and barnes never subbing out, the rest seemed to work fine except for everyone still being hot for no reason. May have just been a fluke game, to his credit lebron was playing well lol

Re: Rotation is bugged?
Rotation subs seem to be working fine. The problem has always been fundamentally you only get so many time outs and stoppages on games so sometimes people overrun the rotations unintentionally so sometimes I just waste a time out to get people in.

Re: Rotation is bugged?
If I can put on my tin foil hat for a moment. I am not a conspiracy theorist by any means.
But at some point you wonder with the issues with these games in Franchise Modes that there is not a conscious effort being made to drive people out of single-player modes and into MUT or Online Head-to-Head modes where more money can be spent.
It's harder and harder for me to understand how devs for a game like NBA 2k that has had CPU rotations forever cannot be aware when shipping a game that Rotations aren't working. This directly impacts MyNBA the most.
I realize that it also impacts MyCareer but realistically it only effects the people who play single player who have less need to buy VC. If my son, who is 14, and his friends are any indication 90% of their time is spent playing head-to-head online not playing the old school way of recreating themselves and putting them in the NBA but creating all these different builds and playing against others.
In Madden it's the playcalling issue. In essence the same thing. These kids like playing head to head. And while in Madden it is more team builder where the money is spent it's the same issue. The playcalling issue really only effects Franchise mode.
At the end of the day, even though the majority of people may play Franchise modes the money those people spends ends at purchase. I would bet that the money spent on VC or MUT probably crushes the amount of money spent by people who just buy the game.
So at best it's a lack of focus on these modes and at worst (tinfoil hat) it's a conscious effort to feed people into card modes. Either way it's not good and at some point it cause some of us to stop playing the game.
It's also why it makes sense that the gameplay in these games is still stellar. Without good gameplay people aren't going to spend VC. Also, I'd argue the people that are really into franchise modes are going to bend over backwards to "fix" it however they can. Just look at the Madden thread for the Run/Pass split.
Some people just deal with it while others quit. I just wish they could satisfy both parties but with the can of worms that VC/MUT has opened and the amount of money they make I only see Franchise quality diminishing and the issues becoming worse.
First year I haven't bought Madden since probably 2013. I only got 2k as a birthday gift for my son. I played it once and have no desire to even give it any effort if rotations don't work. It's too bad.Comment

Re: Rotation is bugged?
Tried lakers vs raps again but on Rotation instead of ACE. Lebron subbed out first qtr. Seems to follow timeline now.Comment

Re: Rotation is bugged?
Wouldn’t that make sense, on ACE the coaches decision could possibly leave him in longer depending on how the game is going Vs on rotation it would stick closer to the timeline?

I set rotation subs for every team so I kind of have an idea of the minutes that should be played and it’s playing pretty well so far.

I wish they would count for fouls a little little bit better, but other than that, I feel pretty good about itComment

Re: Rotation is bugged?
This was the case for me the past few 2k releases. Coach settings need to be rotation in order for the subs to stick to the timelineComment

Re: Rotation is bugged?
Do rotation timelines save in MyNBA? They did last year, but not in quick games. You could do a workaround to get the. In quick games since they worked in MyNBA though.Comment

Re: Rotation is bugged?
so are the rotations fixed now in MyGM where the coach will follow your substitutions per your rotation when the coach sub setting is set to automatic?Comment
