Zero and never will but i see where some of these guys are coming from who spent hundreds. Maybe their lifestyle can afford that and rather not spend the time farming and **** cause that is boring and time consuming but for me its better then spending extra money. If i was making big cheese then damn right i'll spend the money.

I understand your frustration. I have never liked the concept of VC, have never spent any money on it and definitely don't like the direction the industry is headed with it. But with that being said, I won't insult anyone who does find value and enjoyment with VC. If it is fun for them, then have at it. I am sure that I spend money on things that others find to be a complete waste.

Are we forgetting Gold MyTeam Packs were 1,500 VC a few years ago, but they're like 14,000 VC now?... We directly owe thanks for that inflation to the "idiots" spending $100's on this mode. It's all relative...

The 1,500 gold packs that would give you a player every 1/10 packs? Not a great example.
I haven't found it harder to earn VC in 2k14. Actually VC was harder to earn in 2k13, before glitches came up of course.

Dude give it up, you are fighting a losing battle. It's all opinion and preference. Some people would rather spend money on this game because they like it and want things faster or without having to spend hours on end getting VC/MT points. Some people would rather not spend money and that's fine too.

2K and tons of other companies are making money with micro-transactions and I don't really see that going away. Some modes VC should not be in and the game needs to be much more complete next year but honestly it's here to stay.

I agree with the above poster, Gold packs might have been cheaper but you might not get a gold player if you opened 20 packs or you might...and I agree I've found it easier to make VC (without glitches) than in 2K13 as well.

This aint about winning or losing. I can almost guarantee sales for 2k15 will not be as big as 2k14 cause of this vc thing alone and how many more years are people willing to shell out thousands of dollars on a game that comes out every year? This is killing the gaming experience of a lot of people and 2k is pushing a lot of people away but they dont realize it.

I'll have to disagree there these packs are much worse i've gotten rudy gay 4 straight times off gold packs the amount of duplicate players u get is a joke.

If you hate duplicates, you must've hated or never played 13. Spend 20k just to get a duplicate of Bobby Jones, which can only be sold back for 500 VC.
At least you can sell Gay back for a decent amount of mt points.

Why'd they do away with that?... Because someone out there is willing to pay $100 extra dollars to get a Lebron... They know this now, and will look to maximize earning potential even more in 2K15...

Probably to keep everyone from getting a stacked team so easily. In 13, you'd pay 6 dollars and LeBron was yours. Everyone and their mothers had LeBron on their team. I'd much rather have it like it this, so not everybody can get whichever player they want.
As for 2k15, I think the VC will stay more or less the same. They know that people will give away their money, but they're also aware of the growing distaste for VC. I think they'll be careful not to push fans too far away. But who knows, just have to wait to see what they do.

It's a move that benefits both sides... They get more money through micro transactions and we don't run into as many stacked teams.
Of course they are intentionally trying to get more money... I just don't see how you feel forced to buy VC. My Career is my main game mode and I don't feel like anything is being shoved down my throat..........ellipsis
