My theory is that the different attributes are weighted differently based on position. So Russel's increases in rebounding and dunking wouldn't be weighted as heavily in a point guards overall as stats like playmaking and shooting. Just an idea.

I wonder if Westbrook was moved to a SG maybe his overall would be 95

you know that harden rating is BS, yeah? he was JUST western conference player of the week. and now they've dropped him to gold. this Stauff dude is awful

demarcus cousins is 13-29 from 3 this year.

anthony davis is 7-19.

cousins has a significantly worse shooting rating from 3 than AD. yes Stauff...that makes total sense.

My only problem with the dynamic ratings is the moments cards. Whiteside has been playing out of his mind lately and gets a sickly good 87 rated moments card, but his dynamic card appears to be unchanged. Same thing with Kristaps.

I understand that the moments cards are more geared to reflect an individual game performance and should be higher than the dynamic on release, but their dynamic overalls aren't changing at all along with them.

a lot of the ratings are so haphazardly done. they have YET to boost any other category of LeBron and consistently cut his shooting stats.

566 .720 .528 .455 .333 .262

thats lebron's shooting numbers from distance. the .455 is from 10-16 feet. this is midrange. yet Stauff keeps cutting his midrange and refuses to boost his other stats like passing, rebounding, etc. i'm so over this dynamic stuff

The ranges in the game are different than the ranges on BBall Reference. The percentage from 16-<3pt line is much closer to what our mid range is

These updates are going exactly as I expected...not often and only to select players and you never know what they'll change. Since Melo was downgraded he's played great but who knows when or what they will do. Langston Galloway has been money from 3 all year and still nothing.

Edit: they did bump Melo's three to 80 and Galloway's three to 86, I guess the obvious stuff. Calderon has 75 mid but he's money from midrange, lots of ratings are ignored.

Its also not reliable as there is zero communication from 2k's side. Bought a Porzingis early just to find out he gets a moments card this time instead of boosting his stats. This is poorly done.

Also, Blake is second in the league in PER between Curry and Westbrook and gets a slight rebounding boost while Cousins has a worse TSP and gets boosted 3 overall and over 50 (!) points in 3 ball.

That's not the only midrange factor though. and he shoots far more shots from 10-16 than he does 16-<3. all of this must play a factor.

also, while i have your attention...why did harden drop so low? He was just western conference player of the week after that abysmal start. he got no boost from you guys when he went on that tear. and now you've dropped him to gold when, more or less, his play stayed the same coming off of that achievement, yet the team defense has been trash so theyve been losing. if you wanted to drop him after the past few games, cool, but it should been dropped from a boost that he should have received for his play during the run that made him WCPOTW.

Historic Hakeem's rebounding numbers. come on man. his averages that year are the exact same as Hassaan whiteside's averages both last year and this year so far. you guys have Hassan at a 91 Offensive and 94 defense....but historic hakeem at 65 offensive and 83 defensive? his numbers are the EXACT same.

the ratings for this years MyTeam are what's driving the mode because of dynamics and who is released as amethysts and there are large inconsistencies.

Moments should be temporary IMO, then level off to base rating .

Or rate the moment card much higher than the dynamic.

Or give the dynamic a temporary boost that matches the moment card.

Not a huge issue atm, but it can be done better

Also, LeBron. Since his initial bad start in shooting from 3, he's shot 14-36. thats 39% from 3 since you guys cut him initially. meaning, he should be receiving a boost and not being cut.

i think HOW they give out moment's cards is an issue. the other night Brandon Knight had his first career triple double. he had 30, 15 assists, 10 rebounds, and 4 steals. Whiteside is worthy of moments but not knight?

they obviously want us to go chase that unrealistic diamond card....but nobody is spending millions of VC/MT for that card. How hard is it to just boost him because of your mistake smh. i legit am over this year's game. its so poorly executed.

why did chris paul take a drop? he's been injured. kevin durant has been injured for 9 games and didnt take a ratings hit. this is ridiculous.
