I think I'm going to wait to bid on GP until the TBT packs drop tomorrow. If there's an insane Diamond John Wall and everybody and their mother goes after him, it's possible Payton's price will fall because of decreased interest.

That seems sensible to me.

We all know that positions are fairly arbitrary. And Oscar and GP blurry lines because Oscar is such a danger in attacking the basket, and can post up, the way that one would envision a "real" 2-guard like Wade. Has a more accurate outside shot, too. GP also can post up.

I can't really figure out what I'm doing at 1, 2, and 3, in general as well as starting/bench.

PGs are usually better than SGs anyways. 2K calculates PG stats differently where a PG will usually have higher important stats vs a similarly rated SG.

What's yall secret? Damn it looks like a bunch of people were able to snag him. I tried but messed up I put the code without slashes, got 2 invalid code messages, by the time I tried with slashes I was late. I didn't know know it was going to start with dwade-whatever meh prob won't try ever again. Lol

1. after the last locker code people stopped caring about locker codes bc its impossible to get them
2. people here still care
3. people outside of here dont care
4. myteam is dying
5. super stacked teams are turning away new players trying to get in and keep up

edit: it also looks like 2k realized they werent getting any hype from these sell out codes so they dropped a lot of wades to make people salty amd try to get the next one

anytime i see a pd wade (havent seen a love) I just insta quit the game. if everyone did this people would not be able to use them anymore and I would much rather face a Duncan than a wade. I think everyone should adopt this philosophy because screw 2K for doing this pink diamond crap again. I only want to play players who spent the time or the money (sadly) and earned their teams fair and square.

Ive spent a ton on this game, open packs every theme and tbt and play the myteam mode and game as honest as i can, no cheese and with respect to the game (nba) i love.

Ive also got love and pd wade.

Ive spent a $#$ load of time building my team and to have someone like you quit on me if I've got 2 locker code players is ridiculous man, stop it.

Quitting games must be tuff for you. Being that you can't even afford to play because 2k is screwing you by charging 5kmt per game..........

Wouldnt it be better to beat anyone who has these PD locker codes to rub it in their face? I faced 2 PD Loves and 2 PD Wades so far, they aren't that hard to beat mainly because the cards aren't OP.

While I do not support locker codes, quitting a game is probably the worst way to protest against it. It hurts you more than it hurts your opponent or 2K, especially if you're still looking to prestige.

We don't want locker codes. They promised we wouldn't get locker codes. Protesting is perfectly valid.

I don't remember them promising that it won't return, they did say they'll change the system. Which was a lie because it the same thing, a typing contest. However the cards are no longer the best cards in the game. You can earn better cards and/or buy better cards for a reasonable price.

What so bad about them giving away limited cards via twitter? Did you have a problem with the diamond Booker LC too?

Couldn't care less about losses. And it's a very effective way to protest, because it could and should lead to people who got the card to complain about it. If people who don't have the card complain, people will dismiss it as them complaining about not getting the card.

Earn your lineups either by playing the game or by buying the VC (or preferably by buying MT from third party sites - 2k doesn't deserve your money) to pull the cards from packs. Having nothing better to do than waiting around for a code to be released and getting it inputted within the ten seconds that the code is active is weak and it's terrible for the competitive balance of the game. Thankfully they made the Wade and Love hot garbage.

You don't have to tell me the locker code system is bad. I already said I don't support it. I just find this method of protesting silly and ineffective. But that's just my view so you don't have to agree with it.

1. You don't have enough people to join your protest, therefore you won't see any changes.
2. Everyone who join the protest would not care about getting an automatic loss, which is highly unlikely
3. People who got quit on likely just the easy win and move on instead of complaining about it. Mind you, not all of these people are great players, an easy MTO win gets them closer to reward/prestiging.
4. Even if they have issue with it, they probably thought the person who quit was scared to face a PD card, not protesting against locker code
5. 2K doesn't care if you quit a game, doesn't hurt their bottom line. If anything, you need to spend more to buy contracts

Quitting a game to "protest" is almost one of the most ignorant things I have heard in a long time. Seriously you have no impact even though you think in your head you really showed them. The opponent doesn't care. They move on to the next game.


Hey if people were going to do this I would actually try to get one so I could get PD Duncan without wasting a ton of my time playing 5 out cheeseballers. Not every idea is a good idea and this one just doesn't make the team.


2k has way more serious problems than them getting their kicks promoting stupid locker codes on twitter. Let the fanboys get their locker code players. This game sucks and it is a shame.

Hey guys...do you think we could try to keep this thread dedicated to Lineup discussion/suggestions, or at least about gameplay?

I understand people's complaints and disgruntlement, but we have quite a few threads, already, that are devoted to discussion various dissatisfactions. Sometimes I find those interesting, but I hope that we don't end up having every single thread diverted to talking about some sort of complaint.
