Yes and no. Yea it takes a lot of effort and organization to make these classes what they are. But I feel for the amount of content we provide it really don't take that long for us to put them out.

I'm here today to let you know that we will also be bringing our 100% fiictional draft roster "The LEAGUE" to the Xbox 1 for 2k15.

In 2k14 for the 360 we were able to create a roster that comprised of only players from our first 5 released draft classes. The 400 players was then strategically slotted to mimic the real NBA roster.

that's insane! been doing something like this since 2k12 by just simming a bunch of seasons but this is on a whole other level lol. at least i can boot NBA players quicker by editing ages this year (still hoping someone to do this for PS4 lol)

just came by to give props to what you guys are doing. I'll definitely be checking out any videos released

January news feed along with the podcast for that month coming no later than tomorrow. Im also thinking about releasing the big board this weekend as well so you can begin plotting on whom you would like to get for your franchise.

How's this coming along? I am sitting at work with absolutely nothing to do and have a chance to listen to the podcast.

@redsox.... I'm glad you said something because I completely lost track of the podcast working on the actual class. Gotta be able to multitask lol. Give me until tomorrow or late tonight man lol.

@Lilmikey.... this thing won't be ready for at least a couple more weeks. We are still studying and testing different formulas. Not to mention we edit ALL 150 players so it's going to take some time. When it is done though we will have all the necessary information in the first post.

Russell Batch is the kind of kid that you want on your team
Russell Batch was “a nobody” by his own account last year. “I was on the bench just trying not to feel sorry for myself. I always cheered for my guys even though I really wanted my chance”. According to Batch, no matter how hard he tried, he simply couldn’t crack the line up. This year however, with a large portion of the Vermont team graduating, Batch hit the gym in the offseason and came back in better shape and with a better all around game. Now Batch has gone from a “nobody” to one of the best players in the American East conference.

Although chances are Batch will never get drafted, he says he has not given up on his dream to play in the NBA. “Well right now I am simply focused on this season with my guys” he said. After that, I will enter the draft and if I don’t get drafted, it’ll be time to prove even more people wrong.

Detroit Mercy star finally allowed to participate in activities
After an extensive investigation and almost two months of holding Kwame Treadwell out of team activities, the AD has announced that Treadwell was cleared of “any wrong doing” and will immediately begin participating in all activities with the team. When asked Treadwell had this to say: “For real, I think a lot of people owe me an apology but I’m not about to hold my breath on that”.

Many still believe that the school is covering up for some shady activity but as of now, Treadwell is innocent.

Preseason All American struggling but not giving up
Preseason All American shooting guard Lucas Bowe is clearly not having the top of season that he thought that he would. While he finished with 17.4 points as a freshman, he has dipped to about 14.9 this year. Bowe claims that he drop off is simply due to a lack of focus but some suspect that it could be a toe injury that is taking away his signature explosiveness. Bowe vows to turn his season around and lead the Sooners on a deep run in to the tournament.

We can’t forget about Overseas
As usual, the draft is filled with many overseas players. Generally, there are tons of players that are unproven that turn out to either be projects or players that never even get the opportunity to put an NBA jersey on. Today we will look at the top 25 list of International players.

As you will see when you click on the link, the list is topped by Chris Valentine. He is an older player at 24 years old but next to Dre Redd, he may have the biggest impact on a team from day 1. The list below also includes a letter grade for that player and the likelihood that he will enter this year’s draft.

USC’s young freshman is really becoming a star
The young Rashard Wallace from USC stumbled on to campus and had some difficulty really defining who he was as a player. After a little bit of time and guidance from Junior Kevin Dexter III, Rashard Wallace is starting to look like one of the best point guards in the nation.

“I couldn’t be more excited for him” Dexter said. “He is really showing the confidence in himself and I think that he can be a franchise player at the next level. I hope that he stays another year but he may be gone after this”.

UCLA looking like one of the scariest teams in the nation
The Bruins are making the nation look stupid for having them ranked at number 8 in the nation at the beginning of the year. The Bruins continue to receive stellar play from both Junior PG Marcus Crier and PF Zach Shene. Since the two became roommates last summer, they have been inseparable on and off the court and the chemistry is really showing.

What the Bruins did not expect is the consistent play from freshman and sophomore forwards Ja’Karri Stokes and Logan Phillips. The foursome have combined for an undefeated record of 14 – 0 thus far and are ranked second to only the Florida Gators.

A ton of big name players announced where they will be playing college ball
The number one player in the country (SG Dajon Romero) has finally announced where he will be going to school and it is….. *drum roll*…. The University of Memphis. Romero is just one of the top players that announced where he will be going. We were all a bit surprised to see the number one center Cam Jackson commit to Syracuse. Also, the number 7 player in the nation D’londo Richardson has verbally committed to Duke. The big winners though are the Michigan Wolverines who have already nabbed five of the top 100 players in the country including the number 13 and 19 players in the country F Vante Michaels and F Raymon Dawson.

Memphis Star forward Keith Crosby has a great game against Cincinnati and almost gives away a bit of a secret
Star junior forward Keith Crosby had a marvelous game in a win against Cincinnati logging 15 points, 11 rebounds, 5 blocks and 2 steals in a 61 – 51 win. After the game, Crosby briefly talked about the team’s journey and made the statement “I just want to make my last season special”. Before the reporter could confirm, Crosby said “Sorry, I didn’t mean to say that”. Although Crosby may deny it, one of the best defenders in the country looks to be taking his talents to the NBA one year early.

The Florida Gators are looking awfully strong
The Florida Gators dropped a game early in the season and looked shaky through the first part of December, but the team is really starting to look strong. After a severe beating on conference foe Alabama, Florida star and best defensive player junior Greggy Harris shared his thoughts. “We are having fun again. We aren’t up tight anymore. We are back to the way things were last year. We are laughing before games, I’m playing pranks on people at practice. It’s just all about having fun and staying loose”. It also doesn’t hurt that shooting guard junior Keondra Hunter has been lighting it up these past few weeks. Last night he set Alabama on fire hitting 5 out of his 7 threes and dropping 21 points.

Freshman guard DaMarion James may be stealing All American’s spotlight
Listen, we all know that Troy Sanders is a great player right? Well, unfortunately the Internet seems to have moved on from him as all of the talk seems to be on high flying athletic freshman DaMarion James. Troy Sanders, who appears to be a little bit of a control freak, does not seem to be happy with sharing (or giving up) the spotlight. We initially reported that the lack of chemistry was not personal between the two but that apparently has changed over the past few months.

To be honest, DaMarion James is not a better point guard or player at this point and probably never will be. Troy Sanders is the type of point guard that you want running your offense. What James will do though is put butts and seats and light the Internet on fire. Although neither have confirmed, I have a feeling that at least one of these guys will be bolting either for the league or to another school at season’s end.

So many good players in the SEC but this freshman seems to be in control of the conference
LSU freshman SF Amir Hilliard made a lot of fans happy when he changed his mind and decided to attend LSU at the request of his brother Avery Hilliard. I don’t think that they thought that he was going to be this good though. Amir Hilliard is having one hell of a season as he (and his brother) have led LSU to a number ten ranking. At 20.1 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.9 blocks Hilliard is a lock to win freshman of the conference and may be in line to win SEC player of the year as well. We asked his brother Avery if Amir would be declaring for the draft and this is what he had to say: “I would love for me and my brother to play together for multiple years but sometimes you just don’t get everything that you want”.

I seriously can’t see Hilliard staying another year but we will see what happens.

Ugly situation in Arkansas
Sometimes things just don’t go as smoothly as you would like them to. Arkansas’ enforcer power forward Junior John Norwood took a hard shot at South Carolina PG Glenn Deloach as he drove the lane. After Deloach hit the ground hard, all hell broke loose. Norwood threw several punches as teams cleared the bench. After the scuffle, Norwood, Arkansas SG Dakorey Gordon, and South Carolina SG Jack Rainwater were all thrown out of the game. We can expect to see Norwood be suspended.

Chris Valentine confirms that he will be entering the NBA Draft
Big news sweeps across the nation as Greece star Chris Valentine has announced that he will be entering the draft. The shooting guard is a bit older but more than likely more NBA Ready than anyone in college right now that isn’t named Dre Redd.

Valentine is a very clean, crisp player that can handle the ball and defend the perimeter with his extremely long wingspan. The thing that makes Valentine stand apart is his ability to shoot the ball stationary but also off the dribble all over the court. The only thing that may stop Valentine from going number 2 (assuming that Dre Redd declares) is the fact that he is four years older than some of the other top prospects. Personally I think that Valentine is not only a safer bet but also has room to grow even more.

Stay tuned for our draft board that will list all of the players eligible for the draft and inform you who has declared and who has not.

Star point guard Crash Thompson says he’s not ready to make the jump quite yet
Around this time, people really start to wonder who will be going from the amateur ranks to the NBA. While some of these players would be first rounders, many of them make the right decision by opting to go back to school. Marquette sophomore point guard Crash Thompson is one of those individuals that has already made the decision to return to school.

“I was told that if I left this year I would be a lottery pick. I love the idea of that but I think that I can become even better. And I’m not ready to leave my guys quite yet. No matter what happens, even if we bring Marquette a championship, I am coming back for at least one more year”.

Personally, I think this is a brilliant idea for Crash because I think that next year he could be a lock to be a top five selection. Kudos to Crash for making the decision to go back to school.

First off Sapp, gunna call you out on this one. But I think Eddie Porter could have a huge impact in his first season on a team like the Celtics probably more than Valentine. They have a huge need for a rim protector and with his stature he should fill that role. Also really sad that Eddie won't be leaving his time in Spain in time for DC 1.

And Velocity these classes ain't out yet that's why can't find them yet. But once they are released the info will be in OP (opening post).

They have a huge need for a rim protector and with his stature he should fill that role. Also really sad that Eddie won't be leaving his time in Spain in time for DC 1.

You haven't seen Porter or Valentine yet so its hard to say who would be a better fit for who just yet.

Valentine deserves his #1 overseas ranking. And should be the 1st foreigner off the board by far.

But to piggy back off what Dreece said, look at the International rankings and the big board. While Valentine is above Porter, Porter is still rated very high amongst those 400 plus player's listed. Valentine's experience along with the fact that he is a big time scorer and excellent on ball defender RIGHT NOW gives him the edge over Porter. While Porter is listed as 23 years old in his profile, it doesn't mean that he is 23 yet. He may come out in draft class two, or maybe not until draft class 3. The way the big board is playing out, Porter can easily fall into a top three pick if he comes out next year.

And who knows, Porter may grow to be a Hall of Fame type player once he gets there. OR, maybe he will be a scrub.... all part of the mystery. Thanks again for being so into it redsox!

To be honest I wasn't calling out the rankings. It was more of Sapp's description of Valentine when saying that he would have the biggest impact on his new team. Granted I took a very narrow approach and only used the Celtics when comparing the 2. But if you look at the Celtics roster. Porter is the player that would upgrade the Celtics the most IMO. But had Avery Bradley left during the offseason then I could agree with you guys.
