First off Sapp, gunna call you out on this one. But I think Eddie Porter could have a huge impact in his first season on a team like the Celtics probably more than Valentine. They have a huge need for a rim protector and with his stature he should fill that role. Also really sad that Eddie won't be leaving his time in Spain in time for DC 1.

And Velocity these classes ain't out yet that's why can't find them yet. But once they are released the info will be in OP (opening post).

I like being called out... let's me know people are into it. Gets me excited!

But to piggy back off what Dreece said, look at the International rankings and the big board. While Valentine is above Porter, Porter is still rated very high amongst those 400 plus player's listed. Valentine's experience along with the fact that he is a big time scorer and excellent on ball defender RIGHT NOW gives him the edge over Porter. While Porter is listed as 23 years old in his profile, it doesn't mean that he is 23 yet. He may come out in draft class two, or maybe not until draft class 3. The way the big board is playing out, Porter can easily fall into a top three pick if he comes out next year.

And who knows, Porter may grow to be a Hall of Fame type player once he gets there. OR, maybe he will be a scrub.... all part of the mystery. Thanks again for being so into it redsox!

To be honest I wasn't calling out the rankings. It was more of Sapp's description of Valentine when saying that he would have the biggest impact on his new team. Granted I took a very narrow approach and only used the Celtics when comparing the 2. But if you look at the Celtics roster. Porter is the player that would upgrade the Celtics the most IMO. But had Avery Bradley left during the offseason then I could agree with you guys.

ahh the realism... the unknown & the speculation. gotta love scouting. international prospects always cause confusion. @Sapp there's only one REAL Valentine sir LMAO!

No harm done homie. And I feel what youre saying Redsox but when writing things I have to refrain from taking real NBA team situations into account. Because these classes will be used in a variety of situations I have to try to refrain from referencing any NBA situations and speak only about the prospects themselves. I hope what I am saying makes sense. I might be rambling because I'm pretending to be listening during a meeting. It's hard smh

GENERAL description of playstyle: Prolific scorer from deep, reminiscent of Kevin Durant when he himself was at UT(the reason Baby chose to attend). Offense first, uses his long body to post up from mid-range and knock down a fadeaway. Hardly slashes but can put in a simple fast break dunk. Not too fast, but has above average quickness for a guy his size. Has good enough handle to run the 1,2. Quick enough for 3, strong enough for 4, tall enough for 5.

GENERAL description of appearance: Long and skinny guy, little to no muscle, dark skin shade with a high top fade(bars). Hardly any facial hair, which puts his name 'Baby' to good use.

Sapp listened to the podcast earlier this week. I like the little like 20 second discussion the international guys but in the future can we get like a solid 3 or 4 minutes on international guys or maybe even a full podcast.

NO! I kid, I kid. The honest truth is that I simply didn't want to go too much in to detail on those guys because I was going to wait until one of the later podcasts after the NCAA season was over. I do realize that I have been focusing mainly on the NCAA players but believe me when I say that the internationals are not forgotten.

As far as the internationals having a separate podcast.... I guess that wouldn't be too difficult since most of the podcast are only 6 to 9 minutes anyway. I'll see if I can put that together.
