So with that in mind I ask that you please have some patience IF things slow down at all from this huge inconvenience.
Sorry to hear that. Items can be replaced. Just happy to hear you and the family are safe.

First off, a heartfelt shoutout to Blindside. Hate to hear that man.

Second, man I can't wait for DC2 to drop so I can finish up my first season of my Mavs MyLeague. I'm looking at Andre Thornton or Shai Stone right now to help with an aging Tyson Chandler. Can't wait to play with some of these prospects.

Just got this game for the X1 and I started MyGM using you guys roster with Ronyell and these draft classes. I must say, I really like this draft class. Normally I play with non-fictional classes as I like to keep my game realistic enough for my liking, while at the same time having a "what if" type of approach, seeing which team guys will go to and how they'll affect that franchise, regardless of where they're drafted in real life, of course. But I used you guys roster last year for the PS3, at least I think it was one of you guys. So I decided I'd use these this year and I am greatly satisfied, love some of the backstories. But 2k's upgrade in the scouting and the information tidbits you get the players in the classes, really brings home the guys you've all created and added to this project, you get a sense that there are some true stars in this draft class, perhaps a handful of superstars and some real busts. Lol..Great work guys.

Been a crazy couple of days dealing with police & insurance etc.

First off I wanna say a huge thank you to everybody who's left some words, so much love for all of you. Greatly appreciated.

Secondly Id like to give a shoutout to my man Chaos over at TEC he tracked my laptop through my account that was still logged in and managed to secure me an IP address for where my laptop had gone too. So the police have that Information so we just sitting tight waiting for justice to do its thing.

Just couldn't help myself and went through my off-season with the Mavs. I'll have to start a new one when DC2 comes out. I'm thinking of the Knicks and trading Melo. Too much drama in the NYC.

                        JANUARY NEWSFEED

                        January 5, 2017
UCLA has a different feel to them this year

Let’s just get one thing out of the way right now…. The UCLA Bruins are not nearly as good as they were last year and they probably won’t be repeating as National Champions. There is something different about the team and I have to admit that I like it. Last year, with PG Marcus Crier and PF Zach Shene, the team was happy to out score other teams as the had one of the best playmakers in the land and one of the best shooting big men in the country. This year though… the team is all about defense.

Young freshman PG Ashley Walker and junior Jeremiah McCown are simply two of the best defenders in the country. McCown we are not surprised about as he had a marvelous tournament last year and had his coming out party in the national championship. The surprise came with Ashley Walker who has done nothing but shut down opposing point guards all year and is I the top five in steals in the country right now. Of course the team wants to get better as they are currently ranked 21st in the nation, but I simply have to say…. I like the way these boys play ball.

Kevin Dexter’s hard work is paying off

It is already quite rare that you see great players stay pass their freshman year, but seniors…. That just doesn’t happen a ton. Dexter is just another one of those hard working guys that had every opportunity to go to the league and decided to stay. This year, Dexter is having his best year yet as he is averaging 16.8 ppg, 7.3 rpg, 6.0 apg, 2.7 bpg and 1.9 spg. Dexter is all over the court doing any and everything that the team needs him to do. At this rate, I don’t think that I could see anyone else taking home conference player of the year.

Tough situation for LSU’s Avery Hillard

We were just discussing Avery Hilliard and his improvements during his sophomore season. The team is having a successful year and performing above expectations but they do have a set back to deal with now. Avery Hilliard has gone down with a torn ACL and will miss the remainder of the season. It was speculated that Hilliard was on the fence about making this his last year as a Tiger but many are saying that after this unfortunate event, he may decide to come back.

For what it is worth though, the Tigers are in good hands with their two big time scoring freshman G Jesse Marino and F Misu Cage.

Blindside talks with one of the best freshmen in the country, Ohio State’s Tommy Campbell

Tommy Campbell is an orphan having no idea who his parents is, not even a memory. As he grew and start getting smarter it seemed as though no one wanted to adopt him so he always try to run away. His efforts caused him to be moved from orphanage to orphanage until finally at the age of 12 he ran and never came back. He found himself watching a bunch of guys playing basketball in the park and that's where basketball became a great past time.

After realizing that these guys were serious about this sport and came back to the park everyday he found the courage to ask them to teach him how to play. Majority of them wanted to ignore him and push him to the side but thankfully one guy decided they should do it.

Surprisingly Tommy Campbell was a natural. He was so athletic that before long at age 12 only 5'9 the kid was dunking. Turns out all that running away was good for something. He developed a nice jumper as well, the was fundamentally sound.

The guy teaching Tommy Campbell named Damien Richards was only a sophomore in high school and he became very fond of TC. Damien asked his father to allow Tommy to live with them since he had no place to live which his father happily accepted Tommy.

Tommy became a force at only 12 years old soon Damien had to hand Tommy over to an actual coach that can develop him even more which was none other than Damien's father the Greensboro high school head coach. Tommy enrolled in Greensboro High when he turned 13 and tried out for the basketball team. Campbell made the team Damien and his father knew he would but shockingly he was better than the varsity players so he was the first freshman in a long time that made the varsity team.

However with Tommy doing well in school and tremendously in basketball, behind the scenes Campbell was involved with gang related activities he's been with this gang since he ran away from the orphanage. TC had a job and that was find someway to get in people's homes and rob them blind and run away. Tommy didn't come back this time not to mention didn't even think to rob the Richards family. After an amazing 3 years all that changed when Tommy's old gang finally found him his sophomore year in high school. They kidnapped him and held him for ransom.

To make an even longer story shorter Tommy Campbell was saved by an unexpected ally and returned to his new family safe and unharmed. He returned and continued playing at a high level for Greensboro High winning 2 state championships.

Sapp talks with the Number 1 High school player in the nation… Aaiden Blackshear

I feel like it is my responsibility to inform you all exactly how much better these top 2 prospects are than everyone else in the country. The number one and number two players can switch spots on either day but for what it is worth, I am in Masterman, the high school of number one player in the country Mr. Blackshear. Well, let me specify because oddly enough, the number three player in the country is another Blackshear but we will get to that. Aaiden Blackshear was kind enough to send down with following his teams victory against Central High School.

                        Sapp:
Marvelous game tonight. How are you feeling?
                        Blackshear:
Well I think I'm coming down with the flu but other than that I'm great. Thanks for having me.
Sapp: So let's just get down to business. As the best high school prospect to come along in years, everyone has their eyes glued on where you will be going. Are you any closer to figuring that out?

Blackshear: I wish it was an easy decision sir. My mom wants me to get the best education possible so Duke, Drexel, and Princeton are there. Devon and Whakil want me to continue on the basektball legacy at Temple. And I have received numerous letters from Syracuse, Uconn, UNC, etc...so I guess the short answer is no.
                        Sapp:
Totally understandable. Tell Devon Whakil I said hello by the way. There is another player in Virginia that is getting equally as much hype of you. Christopher Sapp.... you familiar with him?
                        Blackshear:
How can you not be familiar with him? He's a great ball player, a player who shows maturity on the court. He's gonna make some coach real happy on signing day.
                        Sapp:
Earlier in the year, we asked him about you and he was pretty straight forward in letting us know that he didn't feel that you had any business being ranked ahead of him. How do you feel about those comments.
                        Blackshear:
Well to be honest I just laughed. Even at this age you can still be a professional. I think the pressure just got to him, but I'm not worried about that because I can hold my own on the hardwood.
                        Sapp:
Are you definitely a one and done at college. Realistically, is there any chance to you stay for a second year of college.
                        Blackshear:
I really can't say RIGHT now. My dream has always been to get my law degree. But playing in the NBA is also a dream of mine right now, I guess we'll have to see how my freshman campaign goes before I can truly make a decision on that.
                        Sapp:
How hard will it be for you to live up to the hype that everyone seems to be creating for you.
                        Blackshear
: Depends. I have watched and played with 2 of the best players on the planet for years. Devon and Whakil taught me a lot about the game of basketball and even more about dealing with the NBA life. I know its gonna take a lot of work to take my game to the next level but I'm ready for that challenge.

Sapp: What do you think about the number 3 prospect in the country Avon Blackshear?
                        Blackshear:
I haven't gotten a chance to see him play. He's that kid from Compton, Ca right?
                        Sapp:
You might want to check out Youtube or something and check the kid out. You guys have a lot of similarities about you. I think most of us all assumed you guys were family.
                        Blackshear:
Yea I read some things on the internet that suggested that we were brothers. I've never met, spoken to, or played with him so I don't know about that. I will definitely check him out though.
                        Sapp:
Is there anything that you want to tell your fans out there?
Blackshear: Yea I would like to thank my mom first. She provided a great environment for me to achieve the goals I set for myself and I'm so grateful to her for that.

I would also like to thank all the people who support Aaiden the ball player. My game has grown a ton in the last couple seasons, and I feel like a a lot more growing to do as a ball player so I expect big things in my future.
                        Sapp:
I really appreciate your time and good luck going forward.
Blackshear: Thanks for having me...and shout out to Christopher Sapp (*laughing*)

What’s going on with Michigan State’s Channing Pettaway

Standing at 6’11 262 pounds, Michigan State’s star center Channing Pettaway towers over most of the competition and he usually outperforms them as well. It’s because of his dominant play the past two years that he was voted as a pre season All American at the beginning of the year. But then something happened. What’s that you ask? Well, we don’t know actually.

Channing started out the season impressive enough averaging 14.5 points and 8.7 rebounds a game. The last month and a half though he has disappeared (as hard as that is for a guy that big). Pettaway isn’t looking aggressive and seems to be lacking confidence. While he has been a physical presence he seems scared to take shots and his minutes have dipped because of it. During this month and a half time frame, Pettaway has averaged 8.7 points and 5.9 rebounds. Very underwhelming for a pre season all American. Channing Pettaway was heading towards being a top five pick but needless to say his stock is dropping. Let’s hope that the big man can eventually pull it together.

Most high school players announce their schools but one of the two “Super Recruits” did not

After a few months of waiting, Christopher Sapp (and a bunch of other recruits have announced where they will be going). Christopher Sapp has announced that he is going to be a Cincinnati Bearcat but it isn’t just Sapp. He openly admitted that he contacted and convinced several other recruits to sign with the Bearcats as well. “I know that next year will be my one year in college so I want to have the best chance at a National Championship” Sapp said. He will be joined at Cincy with #15 recruit PG Adrian Benoit, #19 recruit C Dominique Mabry and #109 recruit SF Justin Encalade.

Other players that have committed this month:
#6 Ranked High School Player – C Jazzmar Claflin commits to Florida
#10 Ranked High School Player – C Quataye Bennett commits to Kentucky

#12 Ranked High School Player – PF Jabarr Wilson commits to Kansas

It’s time to unleash the Big Board
This year is interesting as there are a lot of guys that could have been at the top of that big board. At the end of the day, Rahim Simpson walked away with the number one rating. Check out the rest of the big board to see where the rest of the country stacks up.

                        JANUARY INTERNATIONAL NEWSFEED

Turkish Airlines EuroLeague: 3 Up, 3 Down

                        3 Up:

                        1. Matias Honka
The former-unknown powered his Espoon Honka team to the second round of the tournament and has Espoon leading the Korsiliiga. Honka averaged 15.4 points and 4.9 assists in the first found of the EuroLeague.

                        2. Real Madrid
Yeah… they’re good. Last year’s Euro and Liga ACB champs are back at it this year, winning their first two games of the second round by more than 10 points, and star SG Javier Espinel leads all players with 17.6 PPG.

                        3. Gino Porta
EA7 Emporio Milano’s 6th man stepped into the starting role in the brief absence of Giovanni Scaviglioni and his 14 points and 7 assists led Milan to a win over CSKA Moscow in the teams’ first game of round two.

                        3 Down
                        1. Vasily Ustinov
You guessed it; the big man went out and got drunk the night before UNICS Kazan’s first game against Panathinaikos. The talent is there (as is the talent to escape curfew) but the mentality doesn’t seem to be there.

                        2. Zalgiris
The annual Euro League entrants lost their first two games of round two and, in a sneakily good group featuring Fenerbahce, Anadolu Efes, FC Barcelona, and no bad teams, those two opening losses may be enough to eliminate Zalgiris in the long run.

                        3. Drago Ragic
Cibona’s big man suffered a lower-body injury in his last game against Anadolu Efes and appears likely to miss several more games. If that is the case, Cibona isn’t going anywhere.

                        NB I/A (Hungary)

                        The Quiet One
Gabriel Lukas is introverted and shy… but plays much louder. Kaspovári KK’s star leads the league with 11.6 RPG and also adds 10.4 PPG to help Kaspovári toward the playoffs.

                        Basketligan (Sweden)
                        Bro Knows Basketball
Carl Larka attributes most of his success to older brother Bruno Larka, who declared for last year’s NBA draft. Carl, a Power Forward, led the league in rebounds and won Rookie of the Year last season, and this year his league-leading 10.3 RPG have him on pace for bigger and better things.

                        Israeli Premier League
                        #3
Alber Dvoretzky, star PG for the IPL’s Hapoel Holon, wears #3 for one reason: he wants to be the 3rd Israeli player to be drafted and play in the NBA. So far, his 9.6 PPG and 8.1 APG have done a lot to help his cause.

                        South America
                        Novo Basquete Brasil

Flamengo Leads Table After 8 Games
The Brazilian giants sit atop the NBB with 8 wins in 8 games as they look to clinch yet another regular-season championship.

                        7=12 For Miro Santos
Miro Santos only started playing basketball two years ago, but right now his 7’0 frame, packed with tenacity and grit, is hauling in 12 rebounds a game for third-place Basquete Cesarense.

Lima Announces He Will Declare For NBA Draft If He Tops 50% Shooting
Franca star and prospective scoring MVP Sergio Lima has announced that he will enter the NBA draft if he scores more than 50% of his shots. Lima currently sits second in the NBB at 19.7 PPG on 51.5% shooting.

                        National Basketball League (Australia)

Hairdo, Not 14 Assists, Has Australia Loving Lyon
Despite Melbourne United point guard Brenton Lyon’s 10.2 APG and a NBL season/career-high 14 assists against Perth, it was Lyon’s spiky green hairdo that excited an already raucous crowd the most that night.

                        Chinese Basketball Association
                        Jiabao Enters NBA Draft
Shandong power forward Chen Jiabao has declared for the NBA draft much to the delight of Lions’ fans and most basketball fans in China. The 6’9 Jiabao is averaging 10.4 RPG and 11.8 PPG.

                        North America
                        CIS (Canadian Interuniversity Sport) Basketball

                        Singing the Blues No More
University of Toronto SF Dean Jackson is making a one-man campaign to get the Blues out of their perennial basement—and it’s working. Jackson single-handedly beat Ryerson with 24 points and a game-winning 3 at the buzzer.

                        Liga Nacional de Baloncesto Profesional

                        PacOle, O PacOle
Halcones Rojos Veracruz supporters spend the most time on their feet of any supporters in Mexico. When Paco Rosas has the ball and few men between him and the basket the lyrics of PacOle—the Halcones Rojos Veracruz faithful’s spin-off of “Ole, Ole”—start their way up in the crowd’s throat and emerge just as Rosas throws down his patented one-hand tomahawk.

                        Here Comes The Groom
Taking off two games to get married has helped NBA draft-declared Mauricio Ruiz put up over 19 points per game in the three games since “El Novio” (lit. “The groom”) returned to the Soles de Mexicali.

Still brainstorming on what MyLeague to do when DC2 releases. Need some input on this latest idea:

If I were Milwaukee and put together a deadline deal built around Larry Sanders and Rajon Rondo, and assuming I'm able to draft a top big man like Redd or Tashawn Sullivan, what do you guys think the likelihood would be that Rondo resigns with the Bucks? Lineup would look something like:

                              PG Rondo
                              SG Giannis
                              SF Parker
                              PF Henson/Sullivan
                              C Redd/Henson

That's a pretty solid young group for Rondo to lead. Thoughts?

Greek Freak at the 2? The kid is going to be an 8 footer one day lol. I know that Jason Kidd wanted to make him the starting PG but I rather have Jabari and Giannis at the 3 and 4. Then that can leave you with players like Redd or Chris Valentine to draft.
