How do you guys feel about the in game scouting as it relates to your draft classes? I've felt that scouting players to 100% is too easy and powerful cuz you pretty much find out the exact ratings of players, which is kinda lame.

I was thinking of only using your guy's NCAA feeds and tournament writings for information on the players with maybe doing in game scouting for a maximum of 3-5 select players that I'm specifically targeting.

But I'm wondering what you guys do or if you have thoughts on the matter.

Thanks, these classes really elevate the MyLeague experience.

Thanks man. Yea I scout to about 80% then leave it be. I then would use freestyle drill to see if the player fit my mold. Then I pull out thee ol' scouting report and make my desicion from there.

I actually think that doing things your way would really enhance the MyLeague experience. While the write ups and tournament data is all good, the best tool for scouting is the scouting report that I always release right before the class. Me and blindside are almost done with this one and it includes 100 pages of info on the players, graphs, college statistics... all that stuff. I think that using only those tools would make your MyLeague experience very difficult but also interesting enjoyable.

For those of you that are not familiar with our scouting reports, we really try to make it as realistic as possible. I am still trying to figure out just how much I want to give out this year so I can't promise that it will be IDENTICAL to last year but we will definitely be dishing out info to you guys to make the experience as realistic as possible. We plan to do FULL profile pages for the top 60 prospects and partial profile pages for everyone below that. In the link below you can see examples of some of the top prospects, Jadar Choice, Rayshaud Hill and Kiante Oakman (ignore the identiacal pictures, still finishing those up) and some of the lower rated prospects.

                          DC1 SCOUTING REPORT SAMPLE

Just to clarify, on Kiante Oakman's page, it references Rayshaud Hill winning the defensive player of the year but that was before some last minute votes came in from you guys that led to Oakman being the winner. Of course, all of that will be fixed when the final report comes out. This is only to give you an example of what to expect.

ALSO, this year, the graph scores were based on position as opposed to a global scale. Therefore, a center with a passer rating of a 70 - 75 might have a 10 in passing on his graph while a point guard with those same ratings might have a score of a 7 instead.
