I'm be honest my man. They need to put out a 2k16 for dummies handbook! Not at all calling you a name my friend, but most of us editiors learned over the years that A LOT of those tendencies aren't exactly what you would think they are.

@The Team. We picked this up and started immediately working on the 27th of September if I'm not mistaken. And its just now becoming clear for us to understand a lot of the under the hood stuff.

But to be honest bro...its gonna take a lot of trial and error. The last guide I seen around here was Slimms guide a few years back. But this seasons attributes don't translate the same as in previous seasons.

I've been editing 2k rosters for 5+ years over in the PC sandbox, it's not like i'm totally new to it. But like you said, things are different this year. I was hoping maybe somebody has already gone through the trial and error and they've shared the results with us..

Just a quick update. Help me fill a need is done. Due to the addition of summer league to the game this year I've expanded it to a Top 10 in our categories because it seems a lot of you are going to be utilising the summer league. Graphs are around 50% complete mostly just working out a way to present them as it looks a little odd without the rest of the page. Finally can somebody who's been requesting please confirm what you meant by "lists"?

I also didnt see anything bout the top high school prospects and which schools they are going to in the last scouting report or newsfeed i would like to see that in the scouting report or newsfeed like it was in DC1

Lists I was referring to is the Fill a need section...Best athlete, passer, rebounder, shot blocker, on ball defender, glue guy, perimeter defender, post defender, post scorer, mid range shooter, outside shooter, penetrator, highest bball iq...just brainstorming

Thanks for the input. So those are done with most of the categories you mentioned. I do have another question for everyone though as far as the graphs go how many players do you want covered? Top 50? 100? All 150. Bear in mind the more you want the longer it's going to take but I'm happy to do all if that's what people want

I think graphs should be for draftable players, so like top 70-75 or so.

Top 60 graphs.

Another idea, to save time. Maybe not do graphs, but instead a strengths and weaknesses line where you could either write something or just list top 3 traits and bottom 3 traits...For example lets say a PG who top 3 attributes are quickness, passing, and steals and lowest 3 are shooting, awareness, and rebounding.

You could simply list them or a small writeup:

PG X is good on ball defender who uses his quickness to get into passing lanes and turn defense into offense quickly. Good in the open court. He struggles with decision making and shot selection. Outside shooting is a work in progress.
