Re: SimWorld’s 2k16 Fictional Draft Classes by CWSapp/Dreece/Blindside (XBOX One)

I have to give credit to Raiderz for the addition to March Madness this time around. He made me realize that it's worth it to give a little more attention to the lower rated players that may not ever get drafted. Summer League is in the game this year and people are actually utilizing it so I figured it would be cool to add a little extra meat and detail to those guys during March Madness in the hopes that some of you will become familiar or attached to them even if it's just to play a few games in Summer League with them before they are cut. I also think that the added detail will make picking a final four and National Champion a little more fun and interesting. So thanks again to Raiderz for the motivation. Let me know what you guys think.

      Where is DC2?!
Being worked on. As I stated before, two things would be slowing down the process of the draft classes early on this year. For starters we have been waiting on the patch to drop to see what changes would be made so we haven't been in a huge rush to finalize any classes. Also, the honest truth is that me and the guys have been having so much fun working on the League, it has been hard to give the classes all of our attention. But for what it is worth, everything for DC2 is done except for tendencies and Dreece can give you guys updates on that whenever he would like to do so.

You guys made any progress on any more classes?
I have said this before but have no problem saying it again. We never go class by class. There are actually four classes done for the most part. But of course we have to go back and do badges, signature skills and tendencies. But don't ever think we haven't made progress on the upcoming classes. As a matter of fact, I'll start working on DC5 this week and Blindside will be working on DC6. When we say you will get more classes this year, we mean it. Just trust us.

Should I start my MYLeague now since DC1 is out?
Honestly, I would say no. I think Dreece said this before but the patch will more than likely change a lot so we don't want to get too far ahead of ourselves with tendencies and other things. If I were you I would still download DC1 and Dc2 (once it is released) and play around with the classes (Hoops Summit, Summer League etc) just to get a feel for it but I personally don't think that starting a serious MyLeague is a good idea at the moment.

Why do you talk about players in the newfeeds that aren't in the draft class you are releasing?
Because the newfeeds are intended to be like real life. If you watch college ball you know that you will see and potentially hear about a lot of talented players that may not come out until a year or two after that. In addition, it builds anticipation for a player you might want. You might have your eye on the sophomore point guard Solomon Myers that we have been talking about since DC1 and is rated as the 3rd best player out of over 400 that I have ranked and by far the best point guard. You might get yourself excited for him only to find out he's going back for a year. It's just something that I like to do to add a little realism to the mix.

How is the League coming along?
Freaking great. Of course you can just visit the League thread where Dreece is constantly posting updates and Blindside is constantly giving you feedback about the exhibitions he is playing with the teams but the simple answer is that it is going great.

Thanks to everyone for the patience and kind words. Let's get on to some March Madness now.....
I guess I need to step in and say something on the behalf of DC2. I haven't touched DC2 on my end because as me and Yellz have learned over the last week there has been some slight game updates and its been throwing our edits off.

Yes I am working hard on the LEAGUE because I can form teams and that helps me understand how sim stats are working with our edits. As it stands I already have to go over DC1 AGAIN and that just wastes a lot of time that I really have.

In conclusion we won't rush thru this for the sake of putting out multiple classes. If they not up to the SimWorld standard they won't be released..bottom line. Sorry to be so blunt but our total SimWorld experience is the goal...not just classes, not just NBA, or LEAGUE.

Now with that being said I will start editing DC2 tomorrow and it should be ready in 5 or 6 days after that. Happy gaming.

I just love this entire project, and I don't think it would be possible without the ridiculous passion you guys have for this project. I admire your dedication and cannot wait for SimWorld 2K16 to drop!

Thanks for the kind words miz! Appreciate it dude. We definitely grinding. Already have 6 classes in the works. I'm "hoping" to put out 20+ this year. That's my personal goal. Not speaking on behalf of any one else though

Hey guys, just wanted to give you some information and share with you a decision I made after this weekend. While I really enjoy doing the in depth stories and information for you guys, it appears that the amount of people using/downloading the info such as the scouting reports has decreased. So while I am happy to say that our views in the threads and our download numbers are still high, it is clear that not as many people are utilizing the extra information. Because of this, the quality and the amount of info included in the scouting report are going to take a dip. There will still be a scouting report but I just don't want to spend the two hours a day for two weeks I spend working on it (at work when I should be doing actual work lol) anymore.

Sorry to all of you that use it and love it but the next one will definitely look a little different :/

With that being said we have made some BIG time progress on the League in the past few days and still working on the classes. Stay tuned to the thread guys.

And DC2 tendencies are moving right along also. This weekend should be a go.

You mean post-patch right? Still need to to tweak those uneditable shot locations & I'ma need to run back through those as well... but hopefully that's a good call that we get the patch tomorrow lol. Also... the roster beta should be around this weekend as well

Well of course post patch The meat and potatoes of the class will be done but those locations is still up in the air. Also read that each individual size-up move can be edited post patch. So animations will definitely be adjusted also.

This is the reason why we have been in semi-cruise mode right now folks. Editing the same crap over and over is no fun AT ALL and wastes time that could be used in other places for the time being.

@Sapp & Blindside keep getting those draft class shells together. When its time to make our run we will be fully equipped to do so.

That sucks I love the scouting reports they help me with my decisions so well [emoji17]

Thanks Sapp, you make it all possible (and Dreece/Blindsidez). We all know it's a lot of work and the classes are awesome as a result. Do the degree of depth that you think is right and sustainable.

Sorry man as stated in a previous post we don't recreate real people. But if you have a fictional player then we'll be more than happy to include him in the project
