Anyone else do what I do? Just curious. I tell my wife to get me the game for Xmas every year. I know the SW team usually finishes up in Januaryish. I don't play anything until they release then I start my League and jump right in with Pacers. Usually start out VERY slow....But it's fun.

I've been following the same sort of pattern. Thanks to my brother convincing our parents, we were finally able to purchase an Xbox One and Madden 17 and NBA 2K17 to go along with it. I've mostly been playing Madden and will continue to do so until SimWorld comes out (the only time I've played NBA 2K17 was a Quick Game on New Years' Eve). It will be fun to use the SimWorld Draft Classes for the first time since 2K14!

As for the team I'll be using, I've left it pretty wide open mostly because I want to see how the teams are rated (absolutely and relatively). I probably have about half the league still in consideration.

Hype for the release.

I want to send Blake to the celtics (for picks for Derwin) and CP to the cavs(for picks and he deserves a chip) to start my rebuild. Should i mess with the tendencies or it doesn't matter? If yeah then which ones to reflect realistic impacts by both players.

Edit: forgot about Kyrie. So CP trade won't happen

Unless 2k18 brings significant improvements in graphics, MyLeague or gameplay I'll probably roll 2k17 for MyLeague but still get 2k18 for the Park
