What's up peeps. Just stopped in to drop a little bit of info on y'all before tonight's release .

We as a team have came to the conclusion that DC1 has been looked over constantly when discussing about future of franchises and what not. We worked hard to get our draft classes scripted out and designed and we want the same enthusiasm for each release we do.

Soooooo since it was my bright idea to give y'all two classes to start. It's now my duty to let y'all know DC2 won't be part of release. It's been real hard to stomach that DC1(125 edited) is getting no love in discussions..

Blackshear, Blackshear, Blackshear.....ain't gonna make him appear tonight .

Stay tuned for further developments.

Wow. I see your point. Is that really fair though? I mean you guys are the ones who created the blackshears and are why we are excited for Derwin. Kind of like how Lebron and to a lesser extent Andrew Wiggins were in HS and had NBA teams planning to tank for entire seasons just to get a chance to get them.

It's fair and gonna happen so it is what it is. DC1 will be available tonight . I will release DC2 after a predetermined amount of time .

Dreece, I appreciate the hard work yall are putting into the class, but I run an Online Franchise League that is currently in the conference finals, and had instructed my 30 members to scout for DC2. All along we anticipated DC2 for our Third Season after going with a real life draft class for our second. Then we would pivot to DC1 for our 4th season. Us online league heads are not so concerned with the fine details of tendency edits since our games are user vs user. Hell we could care less about accessory edits if that is taking up time as well. I am pleading with you with to allow us to use your beta DC2 pending a full release for your intended audience of offline Myleague heads. I have been a fan of Simworld since forever, always tracking yalls releases and never being able to use them since I only play in Online Leagues. This is the first year that 2k has given us an MLO with custom draft class uploads and we would be eternally grateful for a beta DC2 that coincides with our third season in our Online Franchise if possible. Thanks in advance for this consideration. You can always PM me on here if you would like to discuss this privately. I am even willing to compensate you for a beta release of DC2 for our online association. Much respect for the grind and work yall put in.

Is it fair?? What? Fair for what or who? Personally, I think it's great to do it this way. DC1 would get no attention otherwise.

Before I make the comment I want to say that I understand your point as well. The reason we decided to do this however is because we have had people in our inboxes literally say things like "I don't care what you do with DC1 as long as we get Blackshear and DC2". Since we have never released two classes at a time, we aren't really used to this and it got to a point where it was clear that a large majority had no intentions on using DC1 until after DC2 was available.

One of the biggest rewards of doing these classes is hearing people discuss them and talk about their experiences with them. We fear that releasing both classes together will completely eliminate that aspect of DC1. We aren't going to sit on it for weeks or anything like that lol. We just want to give everybody an opportunity to sit back and enjoy the actual game and roster for a bit.

We are definitely glad that people are excited though.

I can see how that would be frustrating after hours upon hours of hard work on every specific details for these players so I do apologize if my comment came off as ungrateful or disrespectful to any of the editors. With that being said this does provide a truly great fictional simulation experience as now if you truly do want to rebuild a franchise you now have to pay close attention to scouting reports as well as how you scout players. Now we have to work for it instead of waiting on Derwin the Savior of Basketball lol. It makes us immerse ourselves in the role of a real GM. I can dig it.

But to further elaborate, me and Dreece both just got a little aggravated with the non stop DC2 talk. It's not that we are mad at people because we are glad that there is excitement for the classes but literally no one is talking about DC1. An African point guard that's predicted to be a Perennial All Star in Turay. The versatile big man out of Vanderbilt who is expected to go number one and potentially change a franchise in O'Keiffer. The supposedly racist but amazingly talented SG Cade Breen out of UCLA. The most athletic player we have had in years in SF De'Angelo Summers. The 6'11 PF out of Croatia that can actually run the floor and play defense (Slavko Lorkovic). The high scoring SG out of Wake Forest Jaiveer Nagra.

So many players and all we have been getting is "Where's Derwin, Where's Derwin, Where's Derwin". And I can dig that and he IS coming but just like in real life, when LeBron was getting that hype as a Junior, teams still had to go through that first draft with Jay Williams, Mike Dunleavy, Drew Gooden, Tskitishvili and DaJuan Wagner before they got to that memorable 2003 draft. Now that's not to say that DC1 is the 2002 draft because depending on which version you use, it could be the complete opposite but we just want to make sure we go in order and the classes get the attention they deserve.

Thanks to everyone once again for following and showing the excitement that you always have. Believe me when I say that this is my therapy so working on it and discussing makes me just as excited.

I can dig it Sapp. I wasn't gonna skip DC1 though lol didn't even recognize people were even thinking like that. As long as y'all don't sit on it for too long i'm straight cause after my game last night I saw it was 10PST I was like time to breeze thru these seasons tonight lol. Good point though, because I did focus more on DC2 with my Clippers rebuild. See y'all tonight!!!!

I actually agree with you guys on not releasing DC2 alongside DC1. Since everyone is talking about Blackshear (for good reason) what's to say people don't even download 1 and just use 2 with Blackshear? So therefore I understand where you guys are coming from.
I'll tell ya I didn't forget about DC1 it's just that DC2 was so fresh in my mind. Can't wait for release tonight....i work till 10pm eastern and don't have work tomorrow so you already know what's going down!!

Summers more athletic than the guy from last year...What was his name? I wanna say Kijana Monroe but I don't think that's right. All I remember is him and Sapp changed the Suns into a powerhouse.

3 versions always. Use whatever version you want for each class. And yes Summers is just as athletic if not more than Ki-Jana Monroe.
