I'm still early in my Sonics expansion but having a tough time deciding who I'm going to end up drafting. I'll likely have a top 3 pick and am trying to figure it out between O'Kiefer, Turay, Mitchell, Griffey, and Nagra. All of them seem like great prospects for their respective strengths. Tough decisions coming in hot for the draft!

Btw surprised Ococha doesn't get more love in the DC2 talks. He seems like a franchise player too, just isn't a Blackshear I guess.

Late last night Soulja Boy was at it again and this time apparently Arizona St. PG Nakevion Johnson was his accomplice as they went after potential NBA draftee Vic Flair.




Duke sophomore SG Brent Christmas has already informed the school that he will be attending through his senior year. Rumor has it that his father (Joshua L. Christmas) has taken over as the CEO for Frito-Lay and has told Brent that he will have no part of the business unless he graduates... from Duke specifically. "I have always been a Blue Devil. My family bleeds Duke Blue..." (with an eye roll) said Christmas in an interview following his meeting with his new coach.


Standing at 6'10", the nation's #1 recruit Archer Payne has decided and committed to play his freshman year at the University of Texas. He has also informed the coaching staff that he 100% expects to handle the PG duties but the UT coaching staff seems to have different plans for the James Madison H.S. standout. Stay tuned.

Chris Mitchell and Sean Barkley are out with 2-4 month suspensions and Abioye Turay is out with eye surgery, but I see nothing in the newsfeed or scouting report saying why. Are there reasons given, or is it just random?

I mean, I get why they're there, I was just wondering if any further info had been released story-wise to show why those certain suspensions happened, or if it's just more of a random decision. This ain't my first SimWorld project, so I know there's a storyline reason for almost everything.

It's just like real life. Joel Embid was drafted two years ago but this is still considered his rookie season because he was injured all that time. And "Suspension" means that the player isn't eligible to play in the nba for a little while after he's drafted, just like in real life

EVERY PIECE of released info is linked in the draft class Central google doc. There may be a story but nothing that we posted. Don't think we're gonna advertise post collegiate career info either... we'll let those storylines float to ur NBA2k imaginations and dynasties as we don't want to give spoilers on people being injured or what have you.

The explanation will simply stay pinned to the collegiate side of things with the general caveat that Sapp posted about added injuries and "suspensions" to add levels of sim and variables to ur MyLeagues.
