What's up fellas, glad to see ya'll back at it again for 2k17.

Just wanted to get your guys' opinion on something, how are you guys handling badges this year? Looking at the badges on the official roster, a lot of good NBA players don't have nearly as many badges as the past couple years.

Rookies in particular only have 1 or 0 badges. Ingram doesn't have any and he was the 2nd overall pick. Simmons only has 1 (Chase Down Artist) and he was #1 overall. Malik Beasley has 3 with Corner Specialist, Limitless Range, and Expressive. Kris Dunn has 5.

So it looks like they scaled back big time on badges for the current NBA.

After a test sim in MyLeague, Simmons now has Break Starter, Chase Down Artist, Lob City Finisher, Pat My Back, and Reserved. Ingram is still badgeless at an 82 overall rating. Jayden Brown with 0 badges at 77 overall.

Denzel Valentine got Corner Specialist. Dario Saric got Friendly. Dunn added 2 badges.

Not sure why guys like Ingram and Brown aren't developing badges. Ingram won ROTY averaging 16.2, 6.7, and 3.7 with almost 2 blocks a game, shooting 44% from the floor and 37% from three. Yet he didn't develop a single badge.

So that brings me back to my original question; how are you guys handling badges this year? Are you giving them personality badges, as well as a few skill badges? Should I just go ahead and make a roster with badges added to the current rookies? Don't really know what to make of this.

On the roster side of that question... all badges will updated in our roster so i'm sure rooks might get a few.

So this means you guys are making a Simworld style NBA roster in addition to the fictional roster?

Last year I enjoyed playing two separate ML's side by side using both your rosters.

As usual keep up the great work you guys make this by FAR the best sports sim experience in the history of mankind

The "Sportscenter" posts that Ronyell is posting is the draft class info that we plan on giving you guys. Also, you will see lists like the "top seniors" write up that I wrote earlier in the thread. Ultimately you will be getting as much info but just in a different format

As far as the scouting report.... I will definitely be doing them but I just can't put the amount of effort in to them that we did last year. It was like 3 weeks worth of work for only a few people reading them. I will definitely put a less detailed version together for each class though.

So I noticed that in My League at the end of each season there are league meetings to discuss rule changes and other things of that matter. I had decided to just simply through a few seasons and let the cpu handle everything jus to see what happens with the league after awhile and one season in the league meeting a new rule got approved where players have to be 3 yrs removed from high school or 21 for international players to be eligible for the draft. My question is if something like this happens do you guys think it will have an affect on the simworld draft classes since alot of top players are either freshman or sophomores in the simworld draft classes

We have to cross that road when we get there. Still currently designing our 1st class and our rosters so we haven't touched or discussed MyLeague rules,sliders, etc.

How about this make a test class with all the top guys freshman. Make that same rule change and let us know what happens.

Well actually DC1 is sitting on my HD waiting on me. But first we had to make sure we knew how to work these tendencies . That part is complete but in all honesty the draft classes is the dessert on top of the main dish...our roster sets.

So to be short there won't be any classes released to after we done with our sets. Y'all not gonna waste our goodness on that default roster lol.

Nah I was thinking more on maybe yall ran into other things other ppl was saying on here. But I'm all in for the wait. Im waiting on this new Xbox slim to drop
