Stats look good and the result is what you'd expect from Spurs vs. Nuggets. You are taking a lot of 3's, but then again its the Spurs so that makes sense. Also, the heavy perimeter game explains the low FT totals. I can also tell that you run a lot of plays because your assists are through the roof and you have a huge time of possession advantage on the cpu here.

Would be interesting to see how your Spurs do against a tougher team like the Thunder.

A couple of other quick points and reminders...

1. You need to check that Defensive Assist Strength is set to 0 after firing up the game each time. It's weird, but it always seems to revert back to 50 after powering off and back on. These sliders are meant for Defensive Assist Strength = 0.

2. If you are having issues running the type of offense/defense you want in MyGM, check out the total sim control menu. You can set your team tendencies for scoring options, shot selection, rebounding focus, offensive focus, and defensive pressure. Could be key to helping where your team is weak.

It seems that a lot of guys are running with the Spurs (and are not surprisingly winning their games)...anyone have results playing with a more mediocre team they want to post? Poor Cesco is trying to rebuild the Magic and is seeing some nice growing pains there, but I am curious to see how the NBA's middle class teams (Hawks, Nets, Warriors, Suns, Nuggets) are playing for people.

I'm going to try to get some games in w/the Knicks hopefully tonight or tomorrow.

I trust your sliders, you sure put a lot of games and time on them! It's better to have a challenge than always winning and getting bored.

Lost Nelson for two weeks in my last ATL game! This is getting ridiculous (and really hard), eh eh. Time to give Oladipo some heavy rotation. The man I miss most now is Vucevic on rebounds, sometimes he pulls down more than 15 a game. He's day-to-day now.

Here are some stats and game notes for my most recent games with the updated set....Just for some flavor...a variety of teams/styles I played against.

Game 1 Lost 104-91 to Spurs
First game I got housed by the Spurs in San Antonio. Manu Ginobili and Kawhi Leonard combined to hit 9 3's and Tiago Splitter was tough to keep off the offensive glass. Tim Duncan's replacement, Cory Jefferson from Baylor scored 13 points and grabbed 15 boards. Tony Parker scored 13 points on 6 of 15 shooting and had 6 assists in 29 minutes.

Kevin Love, (yes I signed Kevin Love to Philly before 2015 season), had 24 and 11. MCW had a nice 20/6/13 line. Nerlens Noel double doubled with 14 and 12. It wasn't enough.

Game 2 Lost 110-98 to Pacers
Pacers were tough and kept getting to the line. PG scored 30 points with 6 boards and 4 assists. 6th man Jabari Parker scored 18 quick points.

K Love with 20 and 10 for me and MCW with a near trip doub, 26/10/8. Too many turnovers to Indy's solid defense.

Game 3 Won 110-107 over Blazers
I trailed for most of the game, but just nipped Portland at the end. Damian Lillard was tough and scored 32 with 9 dimes. LaMarcus had a bad game (10 and 14, but 3/11 from the field and 4/8 from the line) and his missed FTs down the stretch (and Portland's poor bench) allowed me to pull it out. Lillard missed a 35-foot 3-point try at the buzzer..I was relieved.

MCW continued the solid play with 24/6/14 and Andrew Wiggins scored 25 to help out.

Game 4 Won 94-86 over Celtics
This was a tough, defensive battle. The Celtics played really nice perimeter D and it was difficult to get around them. Lucky for me they really struggled shooting in the 4th quarter and allowed me to pull away. Sullinger had 10 and 15, and their replacement for Rondo (signed with Knicks) is Tyler Ennis who went 18/5/5. Rookie Justise Winslow was a pest off the bench and hit all 3 3's he took.

MCW shining with a 30/6/10 game. Wiggins with 20 points. K Love 14 and 11.

Game 5 Won 107-97 over Charlotte
I was up for about 10-12 points most of the game until they made a run in the 4th quarter. Kemba Walker went insane and scored a franchise record 43 points with 5 rebs, 5 assists, and 5 3's. Lucky for me the Bobcats were intentionally fouling and Kemba picked up his 5th and 6th fouls trying to get me to the line late. Al Jeff was held to 9 and 9 on bad shooting.

MCW with 27/4/11. Cleanthony Early chipped in 10 and 4 and Emmanuel Mudiay scored 10 off the bench as well.

I'm the Bulls. Now up 2-0 against the Heat in the Eastern Conference finals. The first game was a 99-94 victory for us, in which the Heat shot 52% as opposed to our 41%. So how did I win then? Offensive rebounds. I had 16 offensive rebounds to their 4, which also meant that I got up 94 shots compared to their 79. Also, they were only 2-5 from 3, whereas I was 8-21. Rose's 34pt 8 reb 9 ast night also helped, although it took 34 shots to get those 34pts. Lebron was no slouch either though, finishing with 35pts 6reb 7ast 2stls and 1blk on 16-26 shooting. Bosh had 20 and 10.


This game was quite a bit easier. You can't really tell from the box score, but Rose started the game unconsciously hot, hitting 5 of his first 6 shots. He hit a slump at 1 stretch due to fatigue that finally made me put Delonte West in. We were up 9 at the time, at the start of the 4th. The heat then went of a 12(I think) to 0 run and took the lead, forcing me to put Rose back in after only 2 mins of rest lol.

Lebron was doing pretty bad in the first half, only going 2-6. As you can see, he exploded in the second half. Wade surprised me. For whatever reason when I play the heat Wade typically only takes like 7 shots make or miss. He was definitely more aggressive in this game, which I liked quite a bit.

Time to go on the road, things are looking bleak for the Heat. In the other conference, OKC went fell in the first round, the Clips and Trail Blazers went fell in the second. The Pelicans () are up 2-0 vs the Rockets. Honestly I'd be more worried facing the Rockets than the Pelicans. Barring any injuries, or some mind blowing Heat play, it looks like Rose and Melo will be getting their first rings this year.

Alright played nba today heat vs nets

Man tough game, I used the nets: 10 minute quarter, I had a tough time defending the paint, lebron just bullied his way inside, i did much better defensively in the 2nd half but the game was close throughout

The largest lead for the game was +8 in my favor as i made a run in the 4th quarter. After the heat called TO, it was just tough to score

Last 2 mins was crazy, whoever had defensive breakdowns lost the game and the heat did a couple of times. The heat had a couple of turnovers late that turned into transition points

Lebron missed a LONG 3 at the buzzer and I won by 2

Bulls + Melo are too good. The bench sucks but winning is almost a sure thing every game. In 8 mins after I win the title, I'm going to keep my draft plan to get positions of need for them, have a decent chance at a #1 pick. But after that, I'm resigning and going to a team struggling to make the playoffs. Who are some good options? I'm thinking of the Sixers. I just don't have the motivation to play regular season (or playoffs tbh, I simmed a lot of this play off push) when winning is such a sure thing.

This was more of a mygm update as opposed to a comment on the sliders, sorry. But literally everything is playing like it should. I hope the patch just focuses on glitches, because I'm finding the game play to be pretty perfect atm. The cpu are shooting a little too high, but I'll wait to see how bad it is over the next couple games with my new team. I'm thinking Lakers. They have Wiggins, which should be fun.

Man these sliders are tough now. I started a fresh Knicks GM & I'm 1-5 so far. I've lost 3 games by 2 pts with me missing a shot to tie or win every time. Last game I was up by 21 at the half on the Spurs & I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn in the 2nd half w/anyone. Lost by you guessed it....2 pts.

Sounds like you're having some nailbiters. It took me a ton of test games to get used to the new set, so there are going to be some growing pains. But, c'mon the Spurs SHOULD be taking you to the woodshed if you're playing with the Knicks!

Glad that you're liking the stats. Looks like Russ decided to take over. Some of the tendencies have more to do with rosters than sliders.

These sliders are working really well for me in my Magic MyGm. I'm seeing really accurate results and I love the momentum swings. One thing I've noticed, but not sure if it's just me, is that I rarely if ever convert on and ones. Anyone else experience this using this set?

I see and-1's. Probably something approaching 1 per game per team. And that's with the contact layup success higher than most other sets you'll find on OS. It's not quite as often as real life, but and-1's are definitely there to be had.

I'm seeing them. Mostly on dunks, but I'll see about 2-3 non-dunking and 1's per game.

WTNY, I've decided to run with the 76ers. They had a horrible record last season, but they have MCW, Jabari, Young and Noel, so def a good base. The owner actually demanded that we don't lose more than 32 games, that may or may not work out. Making my way through the season, I opponent fg% evens itself out, so no need to change that for now. I've had a lot of games where they are over 50%, but I've also had a few where they were in the high 30s. I'm currently trying out cpu's playing passing lanes slider at 30 and I lowered hum passing from 51 to 50. I want it to be a little more risky to make passes without having the cpu become psychic.

Was hoping to get another game in before this party but PS network is in maintenance
