NBA 2k15 "The Eccentric Edition" - Realistic Slider Set

Lol for some reason this is one of my favorite match ups.

Somehow they almost won smh. Lol the Clippers began turning the ball over and s*** in the fourth as you can see. They really couldn't stop us and we couldn't stop them damn offensive boards but it didn't seem overpowered. Between being guarded by Matt Barnes and CP3, Kobe sorta vanished but still hit some shots. Lol 4th after we scored they'd just outlet the ball downcourt for a wide open 3 but missed most of them, grabbed the board and got an and one. lol cheesers. In all honesty, if it weren't for our dead on free throw shooting, we definitely would've coughed this one up. Beautiful game.

This game just got fresh and fun again!

Sorry, we couldn’t find that page

Lol holy h*** you talk about someone having a horrible game. Harden was missing all types of open shots in the first half. Second he played better then vanished again.

Any input on offensive awareness and offensive consistency slider? Still tinkering here and there and your knowledge would be appreciated.

Also, if you can elaborate on the defensive awareness and consistency that would be greatly appreciated.

I am close to sending you my findings!

Offensive awareness pretty much controls how well the CPU recognizes an opening on the floor, whether that be for a shot attempt, an open teammate, or an area to attack. Consistency controls just that: consistency. Fewer runs, fewer offensive/defensive lapses, fewer hot/cold streaks for shooters, etc.

I haven't done much playing or testing since I posted my last update, so I don't have anything to add :/

New here; have been reading some threads here for a bit, but never made the effort of creating an account before.

Recently switched to these sliders, and man these are good. Great work!

I love how every game feels differently, and you really have to play to the strengths of your team. At first I was a bit hesitant towards auto-plays (since it seems to run only 4 or 5 different ones max), but I like it now. It still allows for manual play calling, but at least there is some movement to start from rather than iso after iso.
Also think that the ball handling is just perfect with these settings; still being able to break down defenders with the likes of Jamal Crawford or a D-Rose, but you can't just run around looking for space to turbo in.

My main difficulty so far is shooting. It's mainly a skill thing (as I see others here are getting realistic FG%), but I can't knock down anything it seems. I'm gonna add immediately that I'm not the best at timing jumpshots, and have upped the difficulty level from pro to superstar for these sliders for the first time. So I'm pretty sure that has to do with it.
However, I'm only knocking down 20-33% a game at the moment.. including going 1-9 with Marcus Smart last night. Consistently missing wide open looks I create. Any suggestions with this?
I don't mind losing (haven't won a single game so far with the settings, usually results in a close loss), but I want better (more realistic) FG%. All the other stats seem good, and the CPU is shooting good numbers too.

Are these usable with 'real player %' instead of 'shot timing'? Or usable on all-star settings?
Maybe tweaking some of the sliders that could help me adjust a bit more?

Seriously you have to learn to box out with your big men....I never have a problem with offensive and defensive rebounding.....

It takes time to adjust but it can be done!!

wk86 - Simply bump up the shooting slider by 1 or 2 in the area(s) you're having trouble, and that should do the trick! I have no idea about Real Player % because I refuse to use it haha

DSonTL, if you're letting your AI teammates get the rebounds, either lower the CPU offensive rebounding by a few clicks and/or increase USER defensive rebounding until you see the results you want.

Minor tweaks make a world of difference! I'm just glad you guys are enjoying my sliders!

Once again, great slider set man! I am actually working on developing a HOF Slider set using a hybrid of your set and Shady Mike with tweaks to offensive/defensive awareness and other sliders I can't think of right now lol

I play 2K religiously and Superstar, regardless if it's SIM or custom sliders is way too easy. By the third quarter I'm typically pulling away by 15+ points, and that's against top tier teams.

I will keep you in the loop on this project and I thank you for your help. I gotta send my boy Shady some love too but so far, HOF is playing smart efficient basketball. Not cheesy or bs tactics to win but crisp ball movement, utilizing their stars and playing true to the teams characteristics to win games.

I am looking for the ultimate challenge, but in a realistic fashion. Defensive adjustments (Prior to game and throughout), POE adjustments, on-ball defense is a must and well timed time-outs have yielded me a 4-2 record thus far. You've given me hope for the elusive HOF setting so I really appreciate it man. I'll be sending you and Shady a PM with final sliders and if you are down please let me know.
