You'll need to control all teams for rotations to stick. Once the CPU is in control, they'll do whatever they want

this is true, however it does appear that the Cpu mostly mirrors the users substitution model.

I have seen the same thing for trying to dunk when using the shot stick..its super annoying and i am not sure why, I have attempt dunks raised super high so why it doesnt always work with the shot stick blows my mind..however if you use square or whatever it is on xbox..that issue quickly goes away...

30 team control seems like a lot but it's totally worth it. You can automate as much or as little as you want for all the other teams. I set all the teams rotations and then put everything on auto. But I love that I can make any trade or signing happen if I so choose. And to also play any game in the season.

Vetren 2k player but just grabbed this years version. Ive played on superstar the past cpl yrs but this year its very challenging and i cant seem to find a set of sliders i like on it. I dropped to all star and i tryied michiganfans which are good. Im still testing them.

However , i came across your gameplay and it looks great. I also love slider makers who stumble across great find like your rotation. Joshc had a great find like this in madden. It shows your are invested in this game and have put a lot of work into your set. Not to take anything away from the other guys but it looks good when im choosing a set.

I havent tried pro yet. Do you guys get a challenge on pro? Im reading a lot of great feedback on this set but it may be too easy. Im ready to just pick this or all star! I love this set. And that's coming from a guy who was playing on HOF most of this year before coming across these. Just have an open mind, play smart basketball, and don't try and take advantage of the CPU being a computer, like you have to on HOF. If you do all those things you will most definitely enjoy these. And don't be afraid to tweak to your own skill set. I've made a few personal tweaks to get more of a challenge for myself.

CPU 3pt shot -- 50
User Passing -- 47
User Off. Reb. -- 54
User block -- 34
User Shooting Foul -- 100
CPU Shooting Foul -- 74

As you can see a majority of these tweaks are only 1 point in either direction. So I'm not really changing much, just making it slightly harder on myself.

If you set to auto for other teams, dont they change subs/ rotations once games are simmed? Also this means no trades are offered, unless you manually do them. Free agency and draft- you got a system in place on how you decide who gets who? Very intriguing, might have to go this route.

when i was on 30 team control it became a daunting task because i got an alert for every injury and stuff like that....i constantly had to readjust the rotations and it was soo overwhelming....i just said screw it..

when i play now though...the cpu subs very closely to that of the user. so i dont see a huge issue....

i am just happy with how my teams rotation works.

i am just happy with how my teams rotation works.

I thought about as well, all the notifications would be overwhelming, already a lot with just 1 team, haha

As far as rotations I only really care about my team. I do set my opponents rotation before I play them but it'll only stay that way until they have an injury because I have that automated except for my team. I have everything automated except for trades, contracts, free agency, draft, and cuts.
Before the trade deadline I'll take the time to go through and make whatever trades I want. I have targets and trade block automated so that gives a starting point. And I read trade rumor sites online to get a feel for what may be possibly happening.
I like this control because I can play out any story line I want in the league. Kyrie not getting along with LeBron? I can orchestrate a realistic blockbuster trade. For minor trades I'll just look at teams targets and trade block and see what makes sense. I can make big noise on draft day, etc. .
Yes it will prolly take a couple of hours but I think it's cool. I won't have any preconceived notions until the year plays out (I just started) but I'm keeping an eye on things like trading Kyrie or Love, breaking up KD and Westbrook, Dwight Howard and Rondo maybe going to the Knicks in free agency, etc..
I think having this control with the help of the sim world rosters and draft classes will give my league tremendous longevity. I love the idea of switching to a different team within my league as well without having to start over.

I think it is very important, without it...the penalty for mistakes on shots is nullified. anticipating user error was important in development of the sliders...

now have i used these with shot stick timing? no I have not...

if you want to give it a try you are more than welcome...but i like having more control...and it might not give you the same results others are having.

I've been playing with this slider set for the last 10~15 games on MyLeague. While imo the flow of the game, speed, defendind, rebounding, dribles and stuff like that seems really good, I have some overall topics that i'd like to give feedback on.

At first I thought that I was playing bad defense or using bad defensive instructions. Now that I got it (kinda) sorted, I still get that feeling that the cpu is 'cheating'.

- CPU field goal is always beyond 50%. My last game, against the Pelicans, they shot 59% (I was at 47%)
- CPU gets tons of and1's. A lot of contested shots going in too often
- I find myself missing open shots on good releases with players that shouldn't miss them that regularly (Lillard, McCollum)

I'm trying to make adjustments to the shooting sliders to fit them to my gameplay, but so far I can tell I'm not satisfied.

Maybe could have something to do with that latest shooting update (even though apparently it would make things easier, not harder).

That is really Odd...I have had the Cpu shoot over 50% on me...but only like 51 or 52....most of the time they are between 46 and 49%.

it might have to be something with the shooting update, because that just is something I have not really seen much.

I have not played with the new update yet as i have been obsessed with the division.
