Thanks! I would love to use the HypeDC roster, but as far as I know it's only finished for the XB1. Is that still correct? Because if it's finished on PS4 as well I'll give it a look!

Let me know how the sliders work with that roster!

I'm curious about your block's stats ? It always seems that a 90+ on the CPU side make a decent amount of block per game for the cpu. An even ~50 slider between user & cpu always end on a average ~10 blocks (USER) to 1-3 (CPU), even with a HARD shoot foul slider. (Creweutah's).

I'm still testing some of your values and try to put them in my slider set, a whole mix (trying to be a smart mix) of schnaidt, creweutah & your slider set as a %FG shot user. But I'm 300% confident in your defense/tendencies sliders and the overall connection you put between your set and the Superstar default AI. You showed your intelligence in those areas for years.

So for now sorry for the poor feedback. Only that block slider for now (and I feel the hustle slider is always cheese from the CPU and schnaidt proved that it has an impact on fastbreak ?)

We were waiting for you, for a long long time

    (and sorry for my frenchenglish)
That's great feedback actually! Questions and outside information are ALWAYS welcome.

For blocks, this year blocks are REALLY not a problem. My sliders make sure that the CPU players are in good positions defensively on almost every play, and if you try to attack the rim against a premiere shot-blocker you WILL face the consequences. In years past, even if defenders were in the right positions, they would either not ATTEMPT a block, their block would be horribly inaccurate, or many times their hand would simply morph through the ball and a block wouldn't register.

These are no longer issues in 2k17. If I put block at ~90 for the CPU, all that will do is turn average and below-average defenders into premiere rim protectors. More difficult? Absolutely! But realistic? Absolutely not. You should have to worry about the likes of Ibaka, Embiid, Howard, etc. when attacking the rim, not Isaiah Thomas (although even with blocks at 50 he may still get a block every once in a while). I've had games where the CPU has blocked me 5 or more times in ONE QUARTER, so I don't think I'll be increasing blocks any time soon!

As for the Hustle slider, I can admit that I haven't tested that at all this year. For as long as I can remember my slider set has always had high values for this slider, and this year I just plugged it in without taking a second look. In my testing today I'm going to take a hard look at this slider and see what works best. Thanks for the heads up!

EDIT: The 2K Share files have been updated and reflected in the OP.

Yea, the PS4 actually got stuck in limbo for the HypeDC roster. I'll let you know how I feel after a couple of games

          MINOR UPDATE!

Alright, so I quickly realized after some further testing against the Warriors that Game Speed set to 55 is just slightly too slow. Curry and Durant's step-back animations take a little too long, but at 56 game speed the animation is perfect. To offset the Game Speed, I've also lowered the Speed and Acceleration sliders. Movement is still realistic and animations play out beautifully, AND the game looks great on the Broadcast cam (game speed at 56, without lowering speed and accel, makes gameplay look unnatural on broadcast cams).

I've also given a boost to CPU shooting, which makes teams like the Warriors a nightmare to play against (as it should be).

Expect another update later in the day! As such, the 2K Share files in the OP will be out of date for the time being. I'm building off the 0.2.1 slider set (which is currently uploaded to 2k Share on XB1 and PS4), so any further updates will need to be manually entered after downloading the sliders. To make it easy, I will post all updated values in BOLD, so just download the file, update to the values in BOLD, and you'll be all set!

          Enjoy!

XBox sliders updated : Eccentric v0.2.2

Thanks for the block explaination, totally got your point. In fact I was wrong with what I was pointing at, it's not really the lack of CPU blocks, it's more the USER blocks too numerous on my side. Or perhaps I have the damn right "Not in my house" timing But I'll have more tests and give a wider feedback.

Even if I'm not a User timing shot, your sliders make me wanting to go back in that gameplay. Just did a 4x5min game for fun ; the flow + gameplay was very nice & enjoyable...

... and tough. If you bump your CPU sliders after a GSW game I cant wait for your sliders after the Nets'one. *cough*

Edit : The only major slider change I did is the "Body Up sensitivity", this slider above 10 is a nightmare for me. I feel like driving trucks on a "Holiday On Ice" parade along with strange collisions...

Yea the USER blocks can definitely have some wiggle room as far as personal skill level and playstyle is concerned. If you like to control your PF/C and manually block all the time, your numbers will probably be too high. I like to user defend on the wings and let the AI control my bigs when the CPU puts up a layup.

Body-up Sensitivity MUST be set high in my opinion. When it's set low, the game will ignore nearby defenders and trigger very few animations on the perimeter, and players will just move past the defender as he watches.

I'm currently testing v0.2.2 with two changes:

Drive Contact Shot Frequency - 0
              Hustle - 75/50

              Give these changes a try!

I've got a few new videos to showcase what I've been working on!

                CPU Perimeter and Help Defense:

                <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/gVWHdQNg8aE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

This clip shows off the dribble-drive animations you can expect with elite ballhandlers:

                <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/8RASNCHNu2s" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Here you can see the defensive hustle as the quarter winds to an end:

                <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/OPvXb-stzD0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

More dribble-drive animations as well as shooting in traffic:

                <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/97ykvLKVboQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

And finally, here's the CPU once again pulling off some more #JustCurryThings:

                <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/BWmaEjbPZVQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Hopefully this adds a little hype to my next slider update!

Played a few games with these sliders with me being the Celtics, played against Brooklyn and Philly and both games, both the CPU teams shot over 60% from the field.

Following your slider set to a T. Not sure about this set though.

Just bring the shot success sliders down by 1 until you get a suitable %. For me the CPU is shooting 42-50%, but I'll look into it some more!

Very strange how the percentages are good for you. Ugh. So you're using your set on the front page?

I had those high percent games early on too, they are starting to even out now, keep at it. What I'm liking so far, the offense spacing and free flow of the game. Wish the defense can be just a step quicker, without them feeling overpowered, though I see you working on that already.

Btw, working just fine with the HypeDC roster Eccentric.

So I shouldn't lower the Shot Success sliders by 1 or 2 points?

I think you should, have to remember the shot contest and gather defense are at 40. Can take some getting used to.

Gather defense is 40 but the shot contest I believe is at 60. Which shot contest are you talking about? The contest shot tendency?
