Just had another good game using these sliders. Went up against the Mavericks who were 7-7 and going into the game they led the league with the best 3pt % at 51. They knocked down 13 from deep and shot 52% from behind the line. Barnes had 25 points but could have had more if he didn't get hurt. Late in the game we just couldn't stop Nowitzki and he pulled the Mavericks ahead.

    Some stats from the game.

It's absurd how big of a leap this game is from 2k17. Not just in terms of gameplay, mygm mode is better and less intrusive than I expected considering it has something of a narrative. Absolutely love that if you try to sign a free agent, you actually sit down and interview them. Makes it feel like you're in a living-breathing world. So good.

I hate when other games are brought up apropos of nothing, but this game just makes me all the more frustrated with Madden. But I'm glad that we have this and The Show 17 which will be considered classics down the line.

        Agree 100%

This game and The Show 17 own my soul. Madden 18 is still fun for me.....but it is not in the same solar system as the former 2 games. Not even close in terms of an offline simulation.

This game is special and IMO over time will go down as the best console basketball game ever made.

I continue to diligently test sliders and like I have said a few times.....I am dedicated to this title and will support the sliders settings the best I can in terms of creating a superbly fun, competitive and realistic game.

Again.....OCD stat guys.....I simply can’t stress enough that stats do not dictate my slider settings primarily. The flow of the game and “am I having great competitive games” will be the primary driver. Second....are the player ratings driving the primary dice roll. Then third are we having nice statistics (for the most part) and good numbers.

Are stars playing like stars? Are scrubs sinking up the hardwood most nights? That is what really drives me with the sliders.

Game flow, fun and feeling like we are playing basketball like we see in The Association is where we want to be.

And again......make no mistake. Once I lock in the settings we will move on to MyLeague settings. That is a whole other testing phase.

I will update the OP and also so everyone knows....I roll with Timsmooth's Official NBA Rosters and I will be using the FDU (Fictional Draft Universe) draft classes.

So it will be a little while before I start my Official Miami Heat MyLeague.

I have already started my 1996/97 Miami Heat Classic Team Season!! I have also been editing each classic team as they come up on my schedule to add in missing players and replace the generics.

I am going to start a MyGm mode as well but I am going to take on a different team than the Heat. I have to think that through some more.

Also I have a new capture card coming tomorrow. So now I will be able to stream my 2K18 games with audio (I think audio will work using a capture card).

Audio will work with a capture card, just make sure the game audio is playing through your TV and not headphones.

Advance Rotations solve a lot of stat problems if you can run a 30 team league on your own

Apologies for the dumb question. I've looked for the answer and can't find it. Is there a sliders download to grab there or do I have to manually put them each in?

Armor any updates? Also just wondering have you messed with the Body Sensitivity slider? Some one in the main forum is saying that with it at 100 they are seeing like more fouls being balled has there are like not enough none shooting fouls in the game. I am wondering if you have any thoughts about fouls and like that slider. I would think it would maybe cause to much bumping more like what you saw in the past.

Armor & Sword's my man I have made a few changes from your sliders in hear but I think you have got me fast to sliders that I am felling really good with and that takes me a long time normally when it comes to sports games and when I say a long time I me like a few months lol. I will post what changes I made like tomorrow or something but I have played like 3 games since I made a few changes and I am getting great results. I just had my best game yet a crazy fun back and forth 137-129 over time win over Huston where I was down 19 early but was able to fight my way back and the game had a crazy amount of lead changes during the game. A high scoring game like you would expect with Huston and GS. First game where I have shoot over 50% to finished at 51% and CPU finished at 45%. I missed a shoot that could have won the game at the buzzer to end the 4th quarter and right before that Harden missed a shoot with about 2.4 second left that could have put Houston away. If CPU would like take timeouts and have better subbing and there where more none shooting fouls man this game would be like perfect. 2k really needs to patch CPU when it comes to taking timeouts. In the last 2 games combined I think CPU has only called 3 time outs and 1 of those was like when it was there only option towards the end of the game. Seeing the CPU going like a game with calling like 0-2 time outs is annoying.

Yeah, the CPU's substitution patterns are the biggest issue for me at this point. I just played a game as the Pistons v Hornets where the CPU refused to sub out Kemba Walker for Michael Carter Williams until he dropped dead from exhaustion and injury during the final few minutes of the game. All this despite a 20-some point lead that they'd been nursing since midway through the 3rd. He finished the game with 45 minutes, 31 points on sub 40 percent shooting (11 of 30) and a 4-6 week ankle injury.

Fouls get called. You need to be the one testing up to 20 games not others because people play different

Only issue I have is my in game rebounding, but I have no sim issues. I force teams to play small ball or rebounding Sim will be crazy, but Zubuc got 22 last game, but 2 guys hurt made him play more which goes back to the playing more issue

2k is just as bad as EA with stats and roster, but 2k gives you the range to do your own thing

We need to be careful what we ask for in patch. Game is so solid out box and 17 was the worse 2k in years due to patch

I have seen CPU start to double LBJ on pro. This work folks, but Armors will not change his mindset for most players
