Any tips on what to do for the injury frequency slider for already live MLs? For the life of me can’t seem to find that setting and it may be something that’s only available to edit when you set the file up

So i been working on this....

I'm currently testing a lower durability setting for both user and cpu in gameplay sliders

I also interested injury frequency in the simulation slider area...i simmed 1 game and got an injury... So I'm definitely into something

So are these sliders ready to go to start a myleague or is more testing needed? I used your sliders last year and they worked really well.

You can 100% start. I have.

Now, I'm currently testing/tweaking a few things.

1. Getting more injuries. Via in game and during simulation.

2. Id like to get a few more 3pt attempts from the cpu... They have been kinda shooting around 20 a game pretty consistently. The 3pt shot tendency is currently maxed so I'm messing with the attack basket/look for post players/post shots sliders.

But yes, these are ready to start. Make sure you play on broadcast camera!!

Schnaidt1 in your mylegue settings you don't think the player's morale at 50 is too high, I think this year there is a problem with morale and harmony

As long as you set your training to team chemistry under team tactical.... Then no.

If you choose to not use team chemistry for tactical training.... Then morale difficulty needs to be at 45.

Double check that you have team chemistry difficulty set correctly. Because that is not the case for me. I'm only 1-2 but even in my losses my chemistry didn't drop

Just checked and team chemistry is set correctly. I even started a new myleague just to test without your sliders and it still does the same thing. I haven’t touched any settings lol. Maybe I’ll just have to turn chemistry off. First player mentorship not working two years in a row and now this, good job 2k smh

Excited to give these new sliders a run for another cpu-vs-cpu simulation season. Last year I used these resulted in the Warriors going 80-2 in the regular season and 16-0 in the playoffs to win the championship. I think I’ll see a bit different results this time around. I’ll let you know how it’s looking as I play through/watch every game of the season. Keep up the great work Schnaidt!

Thanks for working on the new myleague sliders. I had been using your 2k19 sliders for season 1, and was able to get your 2k20 ported in for my season 2 offseason.

Heading into season 3, Ja Morant is still only an 82. Is this as intended? Any tips on how to get him to progress faster? Is it at all tied to performance?

Well, it was using last year's settings for the first year, but

I believe he is either a 79 or 80 in year 1...so a 2-3 point jump is not bad.

Morale impacts progression, as well as if he was injured at all. Not sure if those were an issue or not though

His morale has been good and he’s been healthy throughout. Won ROTY and averaged 22/9 last year.

Should I just expect a 1-2 point increase every year, or will he likely spike? I’m seeing Trae Young as an 88 in year 3 (his fourth year in the league) and while I think he started an 86 in the base roster, I’m curious to know if it’s possible to see a similar jump.

Off topic but I always wanted to ask the people that watch cpu vs. cpu games this and I hope I don't sound stupid but....what enjoyment do you get from watching a game that you could actually be playing?? I remember when I would get in trouble as a kid and my parents would take my gaming controllers. I would sit and watch cpu vs. cpu games wishing I had my controllers back 🤣🤣 That just brought back painful memories lol[emoji23][emoji23]

I remember when I would get in trouble as a kid and my parents would take my gaming controllers. 😂 Haha! I too share those painful memories of having controllers and/or consoles taken away as punishment (but would often find where they were hidden lol). Not a stupid question at all, quite common actually especially when folks see me watching games. Honestly I choose to watch cpu vs. cpu games instead of playing them in MyLeague out of the enjoyment of the management aspect as a form of participation (similar to playing fantasy basketball). I enjoy the business side of the game (transactions, setting rotations, prospect scouting, etc.) more than I do actually playing the games (outside of Play Now). I also like to watch games play out from that perspective to truly see how players are performing (who deserves more minutes, who needs to be relegated to the bench, who might be worth trading for, etc.) rather than just simulating and reading stats. Doing it this way just caters to the business/management nerd in me kinda like Pro Evolution Soccer vs. FIFA.

I feel like if i ever ran a MYGM i could do it just because there is so much more to do in a mygm between games then in a myleague.
