Good point. I don't see many/any oops from the CPU but was not looking for that. I'll play with that and see what others have suggested in their slider sets.

    Any suggestions from your experience?

I struggled to stop the hot shooting Hawks on my own floor. Then I got stone cold in the 4th. I never led in this one. The only two positives are I did get to the offensive glass ('cause I was missing so much) and I got to the line a ton.

Not enough to keep it even close. Oof.

Unfortunately no. Only current era. Sorry!

These almost daily changes by 2K drive me nuts. Inside scoring got harder and maybe CPU 3Pt shooting. Right when you get something dialed in they change something and we're back down the rabbit hole.

Making changes. Adjusting inside and layup shooting higher. Going to see what else needs to be adjusted again.

            Sigh...

Just played the Pistons with these changes. My Seattle Skyhawks had a hot shooting 3rd quarter and busted open a close game.

After starting the game hot and growing a big lead in the 1st quarter, Detroit came back and tied us in the 2nd. We ended up 3 at the half. We then stretched that 3 point lead out to 25 at one point and ended the game with a comfortable 13 pint win.

After getting blown out by Seattle at Orlando, the Magic came into our Seattle arena with a tougher attitude. And better shooting. Alas, they could not hold on to their 3rd quarter lead and lost by 14.

Do you think three-point shooting percentages are a little high?

It might be the redonkulous 2K roster tendencies. One thing I did before I started my season is a bunch of roster tendency updates. I only do these edits once I have created the season (or league) so that I can take advantage of the All Players edit screen. I edit some of the highest rated players to eliminate some extremes. I use the feature to edit the entire column to make global reductions or increases as needed.

Here are all the changes I made, but the key might be the reductions to the various DRIVE tendencies. These changes are what I want to see for better ball movement, less driving into the paint, less isolation play, etc.

BTW - I also get rid of a lot of badges. When editing All Players, on most badges a flick the right stick down once to eliminate all bronze badges, shift silver to bronze, etc. So you end up with much fewer badges and the Max values are gold (no legendary). Then I tweak a few to bump up real superstars for key badges as I see fit.

Here are the updates to roster tendencies I make.

So, I was doing these tendencies and had a question. For Driving Layup, your chart has the range as 5-50, but it says "start with top scores at 100, down 35 up 5" which would result in a range of 5-70. Is the range supposed to be 5-70, or should the top scores actually be 80 like the other drive tendencies?

Good catch. It's 5-70 so the range column is wrong.

BTW, I also bump a few star players higher. While the overall rang is the 5-70 noted, I have just a few players higher who I want to stand out like James, Giannis, and Zion. They are in the 75-85 range. Pick a few studs to bump higher at your preference.

I had a question. Do you think I should make a different adjustment on stamina? Cavaliers players who do not leave the game in the first period are between 60-70 energies and their movement speed and shooting percentage do not decrease. Why is this?

Are the Cavs a CPU controlled team or your team? I find the CPU controlled team in particular does not show much impact from lower stamina, while your players will. I'm not clear if this is just a bug, a design choice, or what.

I saw a post earlier (don't recall where) about a test someone ran. They let the CPU players get very low stamina and they saw quick players still with no visible effect. Then they switched sides and the same low stamina players (now the human controlled team) were slow and sluggish.

Anyway, I have not really played around with or really tested the stamina/fatigue setting too much.

Check out some other slider sets and see what others have recommended. They may have more insights.
