I dont like when players stops driving because they like face the wall. With the default sliders this does not exist. So what sliders must be increased or decreased?

The issue might be the lower Take Inside Shot tendency and much higher Midrange and 3pt Shot tendency. Players drive but don't want to take the shot at the basket in favor of a higher favored midrange or 3pt shot instead?

Try adjusting Inside a little higher with Midrange and 3pt a little lower to see if that makes a difference.

Made a few edits to the sliders posted above as I keep testing. The key changes are -

Shot Coverage Impact - 50 (offset the lower Defensive Awareness)

Jump Shot Defense Strength (Release) - 55 (getting more jumpers to land)

Offensive Consistency - 45/75 (improving CPU shooting %)

Take Close Shots - 25 (balancing inside scoring)
Take Mid-Range Shots - 75 (balancing inside scoring)
Take 3PT Shots - 80 (balancing inside scoring)

Pretty good game against the Pelicans. Seattle pulled away with a good 3rd quarter where NO struggled to hit shots. Then steady in the 4th to wrap up the victory.

Interesting. I want to make sure I understand what you are seeing. Players driving to the basket are stopping and facing back away from the basket instead of finishing the drive?

It's 2k22 in the video but problem is similiar. I mean it will be ok if player can continue moving after this "press" but not stop and look for a pass. I think now you understand

Ah the defender's bump causing the player to stop. I think that collision is likely impacted by the Body Up Sensitivity slider. Drop that lower to see if it is better.

From what I've found, lowering body up sensitivity also lowers the stop and go from the CPU. My current slider is at 40

Want to get your thoughts on something, I've been hearing other content creators and players stating not to use Isolation or Cutter for player play types. They say those break the game and mess up flow. What are your thoughts on that?

Just had a couple games with the CPU shooting in the low to mid 30s and only scoring 70ish points. That's no good. So not settled yet. Grrr.

Moved Defensive Awareness back up to 50 and a couple other adjustments to get back to a baseline. Only had time to play two quarters but its better.

In this years game, I've found the CPU's defense is better at rotations, on ball steals, and contesting shots. On offense, the CPU is SUPER aggressive on trying to get to the basket, take waaaaaay to many contested shots, and not enough threes. I've tweaked a few things off your settings to offset.

Ball Security - 35
Help Defense Strength - 75
Ball Handling - 50
Defensive Awareness - 20 (Don't go higher than 25)
Defensive Consistency - 49
Attack the Basket - 15 (Don't go higher than 30, increases outside shots)
Go for On-Ball Steals - 65

I use Celtics Detailed Roster Edits, waaaaaaay better than 2K's default rosters and make players actually play like themselves.

Also, 2K put out an update a few days ago that tweaked gameplay and in my opinion made it worse (Less CPU plays ran and more free-lance and standing around). So tweaking sliders and CPU player Tendencies is a must

I mean in roster edits, CPU Play Types (ISO, Post Low, Post High, Mid Range, 3PT, Handoff). I browse other's sliders, posts, and videos on Youtube and Discord and have seen quite a few people say to remove ISO and Cutter from Players Play-Types because they break flow of game. I've done so, but I think the bigger culprit to breaking the game is the Attack the Basket Slider. With it too high, CPU has a one track mind, and that is to get to the basket.

Also, I've increased Contact shot success to at least 45. With better CPU defense, gotta offset with better success for offensive players.
