    YES!!

To explode out of the triple threat...hold the two triggers...and press Up on the right stick...then...let go while still holding the agressive modifier... Works like a charm

I jus exploded from the 3 point line on Devin Harris...watched as he went to far and I pulled back (down on the right while holding the right trigger) and pulled up for the J...All with you kno who of course

      Re: Offical Demo Impressions

Can someone tell me how to move a player (without the ball) in a specific direction after he is highlighted by hitting up on the directional pad? I am struggling with this. When I go to move the player after highlighting him and hit the directional pad, I get the play call pop up screen. Thanks to anyone on helping me out.

      This demo is simply awesome!

The stupid thing is that there should be a button to get the hell up!!! I was stuck because I stole then dove for the ball, ended up in the opponent's court, but all my players are in my court and I couldn't pass it to anyone, when I did, backcourt violation. Looks like a bug to me. I guess I could had called a timeout, but, no one was around me, he could had gotten up, and my players were just D'ing up for some reason on my side of the court. Weird. And that damn CPU speed catchup on Fastbreak thing pisses me off to no end.

Anyways, off to play more :P

There's one time when the opponent got the ball on the ground and I double teamed him, he actually called a timeout.

That was in 3 games. I'm sure it could be fixed in the final game with sliders but I didn't like this in the demo.

            What I did like was:

When I got a steal with Wade and had him all by himself on a fastbreak he threw down a pretty sweet 270 dunk. I think so anyway, more than 180 but not quite 360.

            Shot blocking animations.

Watching Dampier fall on his *** after a Wade crossover.
Are you using the analog stick to shoot? I noticed Shaq went from lay-ups to occassional dunks when I started using the analog stick.

I dunno, I know what you're saying with the slow down. I've just found the most success with the icon passing and then lead passing being used with aggression.

                Hey Beluba!

First, great job by you and the folks at VC. Great game so far.

Can you shed some light on how the auto defense works? I thought it was proximity based, but I've seen the CPU take over my defender in other situations as well. What activates it?

                Thanks.

shaq had a nice move nullified by the backboard invisibility factor.. the wade move is by the far the sickest move ive seen in a video game.. couldnt finish but thats ok. all followed by a nice fastbreak COMPUTER controlled iso move fest. i love getting owned when its rightfully so.

question, when icon passing and moving the LEFT stick, are you essentially leading them into an area like last years game?

I love the fact that the CPU will punish you for not boxing out. I like the feel of the rebounding...

I'm going to play this thing one more night, and then i'm deleting it. I've seen all I want to see for right now, and i couldn't be happier. If this is really an old build, I may never play another game again once the retail version drops.

                      10 more days....

That move by Terry at the end was as pure and fluid a move as I've ever seen by a CPU controlled player in any game ever. It was just flat out filthy.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

                          Re: Offical Demo Impressions

This is most definetely a older version of the game when I went back and watched the Masterbit and POTD from Ign I noticed alot of differences that are not in this Demo Ill List them.

                          1. James Posey doesnt have long socks like the ign version
                          2. The Announcer calls Josh Howard #5 but he calls his name in the Ign version.

                          3. Floor spacing, the demo version has the 2k6 floor spacing while the Ign version has a spaced floor with more room to work.

                          4. Dirk Nowitzki face is different than the Masterbit video

                          5. The crowd is movng alot more in the ign videos compared to the demo

                          6. The coaches on the sideline are slightly different too.

give me some time... ill capture the good, bad, and ugly

ill even throw in just some CPU vs CPU play, since I tend to turn it over alot on fastbreak attempts
