If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: Will we still have to press start to load the menu?
So is there any word on whether 2k has fixed this yet?
You haters have to admit, 2k has two options when designing this game.
#1: Menu loads all by itself, and you can jump right into the game
#2: The thing that loads is a screen that says "press start," and only after you press start does it load the menu.
What does it say about the person who chooses #2? What kind of person is that? Take Two isn't even a self sufficient company. They don't make enough money to stay in business forever, and will need a buyout by EA or someone else to stay alive. You don't think failure to address all the little things contributes to their greater failure as a company?
Blizzard is by far the most successful and profitable game maker out there. They pay attention to detail. When you launch a Blizzard title on your computer it jumps to the fricking menu. It doesn't load a screen that says "press enter to begin loading the menu."
Now you are all doomed to view the start screen as a symbol of TTWO's inevitable demise. Every time you guys play the game, you will think of me and see that which is a monument to lazy conformist programming. "Here's that damn load screen again. You know, Lebronze was right about this all along."

Co sign
He was probably one of those kids that bought a $50 dollar cleaning kit for his NES to obtain "maximum game performance and efficiency". Blowing in it would have been to time consuming and prevent him from discovering the mysteries of the universe.Last edited by Juice Malone; 09-11-2008, 09:23 PM.Comment

Nah he's trying to play it off by acting more over the top. He was completely serious before.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.

Re: Will we still have to press start to load the menu?
i kind of agree with the original post...it's kind of stupid when you have keep pressing the button to tell the game "yes" i want to move forward...if you didn't want to do that, you wouldn't have pressed the button/put in the game to begin with.Comment

Re: Will we still have to press start to load the menu?
I actually want to know, whats the purpose of having to "press start" in the beginning of a game?
I always thought of it as a fake arcade simulation in the living room, how u have to put the quarters in to start the game. It does seem dumb though when u think about it, as it serves no purpose whatsoever.Comment

Re: Will we still have to press start to load the menu?
Yea I laugh at Bronze but go back and read my post before. He makes sense. If I turn the game on I want to play. I don't NEED nor WANT to see a damn demo mode.
Bronze James is right. And it isn't about being LAZY for those that keep using the lazy card.Concrete evidence/videos pleaseComment
