I've been out the PC gaming thing for a while. Would an ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro with 256MB get the job done? I know the memory is there but I'm wondering about the chipset itself.

EDIT: Nevermind I just saw that a 1600 is the entrance to this game. I plan to dual boot my mac and run it on that. Man I wish they made this to work on Linux as I'd rather run that than Windoze

Pentium 4 3.40 Ghz
1GB DDR2 RAM
ATi X800XT 256MB

Would just getting an 8800GT/1950pro upgrade be suffice?

if you get an 8800gts it should be more than adequate.
even an 8600gt would do.

Yeah, I'd definitely recommend it, especially now that it's marked down a bit. You'll be able to run pretty much anything, including the higher-end stuff like Crysis, etc.
