I've run crysis ok and gears of war was pretty good.

I put this computer together about 9mths ago for less than $1k... Might have to upgrade my Graphics card though.

AMD dual core 6000+ 3.0ghz
2gb 800mhz DDR2 Geil RAM
Nvidia 8600gt 512mb DDR2

For some reason, I can only play most recent release games at medium, with no AA. Pretty sure my graphics card is letting me down.

7900 Go overclocked with 256 MB on my lappy, with 4 GB (3 accessible with xp) of ram, I may give it a go for 20 bucks.

i havent tryed crysis, but can anyone confirm, for me if ill be able to run 2k9 smooth or not?

recent games ive had on here were rainbow vegas, cod4, gow, judging by the specs, i would think im ok, but im not a spec guy to much can any 1 give me any advice?

Remember these are only the minimum requirements. THat means the game will look like trash with these minimum specs. You have to way surpass these specs to run it right.

LOL... yeah. What some of you guys have to remember is that is not just about your PCs playing the game, but playing it at a level thats higher than your 360/PS3 will play it. Some in here are just right at the requirements but both next-gen console versions will play it higher/smoother/better looking than the starting requirements of this PC version. Then theirs price... the game will cost you $60 on 360/PS3 vs $100-150 on a graphics card + added RAM and $50-80 to have a "professional" install it for you (if you dont know what your doing).

let see, everyone has a computer, not everyone has a xbox360/ps3:
gfx card = 60, (2) logitech controllers = 20, that's only 80 bucks to play on pc vs. $199 + $40 for an extra controller on xbox 360. playing on pc is definately cheaper. plus i can play this on the plane, my laptop has a 8600 gt! SICK!! any idiot can add ram!!
