Re: NBA 2K10 PC thread
I still can't resolve my stutter issues when crossing halfcourt, but I played the game on 360 last night and it's hands down a better experience.
The controls simply don't work on PC like they do on the 360. I tried with the Microsoft 360 driver and XBCD. Players also teleport and glitch a lot more on PC.Comment

Re: NBA 2K10 PC thread
I just got this for pc, and I'm running it through parallel and it is just atrocious. I have the newest macbook pro and even on the lowest setting for everything it still stutters as soon as pre-game presentation starts. Is there a fix for this?Comment

Try running it through bootcamp. Running it through parallels isn't exactly resource efficient since it is a virtual session of windows inside Mac OSXComment

You don't need a $3000 computer to run the latest and greatest games. And gaming is way more GPU intensive than CPU intensive. It's your videocard that's going to have the greatest impact on performance for most games out there.Comment

Yes. If you have any more issues just go to the official 2k forums. There's a whole section devoted to the PC version of 2k10 and there are several threads related to Windows 7 compatibility.Comment

Re: NBA 2K10 PC thread
I think I'm calling it with this game and going back to 2K9. The controls just aren't working for me. It's too clunky, and the fact that you really can't change anything with My Player (sliders, minutes, etc.) is just a complete downer for me. I did the hack thing and played 10 minute quarters. The scores are constantly over 150.
I really think basketball games are going in the wrong direction with these 5 minute quarters and fancy animations. Gameplay has seriously suffered in my opinion.
I will say that 2K7-2K9 was decent. Each one got better and worse at the same time. 2K10 is kind of the same way, but the goods are cosmetic, great announcing and presentation, great graphics and animations, but just terrible control and stat balance. The gameplay is falling further and further behind on 2Ks priority list and it's sad.
Maybe I'll revisit the game when a PC patch shows up in a few months. Too bad...just too bad.Comment
