Re: NBA 2K10 PC thread
I hated the controls last year and they're the same. Not going to waste my time with 2K10 and wish i'd known this before I downloaded it.Comment

Re: NBA 2K10 PC thread
This year is better. The only configuration I had to change was the, what 2k calls, clutch, turbo, dual-player, icon passing buttons.
The clutch and the turbo were flip around L1 & R1 respectively.
Finally, dual player and icon passing were L2 & R2 respectively.
All you have to do is flip them around. Everything else is fine. I'm using a wireless 360 controller.Comment

Result?
No pick and roll control without calling a play = not fine.
Having to tap X to get a contextual hop step = not fine.
Having to hold down bumpers to do things that are designed to be mapped to triggers = not fine.
When you flip around LB & RB to LT & RT, the isomotion moves that call for you to hold both LT & RT do not work = not fine.
Basically, the same as last year.Comment

Re: NBA 2K10 PC thread
Anyone in Toronto, Ontario get the game yet? I was talking to someone over at the NBA 2K10 PC forum @ 2K Sports (http://www.2ksports.com/forums/showthread.php?t=236290), and he said he asked around the Younge & Dundas area and also at EB games in the Richmond Hill area and all the stores said that the shipment is delayed and that the earliest is the 14th.
If anyone in Toronto, Ontario gets the PC version of the game, please post when/where they got it in this tread, Thanks.2018-2019 NBA Champions!Comment

Re: NBA 2K10 PC thread
So, it is confirmed by 2K that you can't change the minutes in My Player? How is it set up? Are all games 5 minutes, or just the games you play? What about sim games?
I can't believe the NBA 2K series is always so messed up. They seriously need some more testing on their games. This is just disappointing. Here I wait for the PC version because it's cheaper and better looking and I find out it has issues despite them saying "It's the same as the 360 version." It's not when there are control issues and other bugs.
I guess this is why it's $20 instead of $60. We get to be neglected. No patch will come out for quite a while.Last edited by Boge; 10-12-2009, 01:41 PM.Comment

Re: NBA 2K10 PC thread
Solution to changing My Player minutes:
1. Download tsearch.
2. Run NBA 2k10, load your My player save file.
3. Run Tsearch.
4. Open process button -> Choose Nba2k10.
5. Add new cheat, address : 05443ABC
6. This value should be 5. Change it to the minute you prefer.

Re: NBA 2K10 PC thread
The my player minutes change using the hex memory edit works perfectly, and the creator has found also how to change the difficulty level, big thanks to him.

Re: NBA 2K10 PC thread
i'd like to download from steam but does anyone know if steam will auto patch? cause i know a lot of third party games dont get patches in steam so then will patches be easy to apply manually? (for example, i had to manual patch hearts of iron 2, which wasnt too bad since all i did was copy and paste but it would have been easier if the patch could find its way to the source file)Comment
