Looks immaculate on my PC (everything on high, 4x MSAA, 1920x1200) but I'm not getting some of the sound. Commentary and some on-court sounds (rim clang, net, etc) don't work. Tries to install MS .net framework 2.0 on each startup but it isn't compatible with my 64 bit OS (Win7 Pro). Maybe that's the problem?

Running Win7 64bit and no problems here. You can bypass that message about incompatibility when you install the game.

Did you download it from steam or get it elsewhere? Steam automates the install so there wasn't a way to skip that.

Elsewhere. Last year I swore off steam.

Anybody here who gives a sh*t about the long term viability of sports games on the PC should vote with their dollars. This game is only $20.00 and well worth it. Please support the developers and the sports gaming genre on the PC with a retail purchase.

Sweet processor. That's what I'm using, and I luckily got the 4th core working! If you don't know, check into it. All the triple cores actually have a 4th core which is disabled, often times because that core has something wrong with it, but sometimes it's just fine. Been running my 720 x4 since April with no problems.

I second this. $20 isn't too much to ask.

game is beautiful...i have it on 1920X1200 you really can see the player faces even from afar...very detailed..im not sure but the crowd in the PC version reacts appropriately in this...oohhs and aaahhs at the right time and they cheer to compared to the 360 version...

the only thing thats bugging me is that Harlan and Kellogg sounds like theyre commentating in a box...kinda muffled...it wasnt like this last year...

the ball sounds and other sound affects are not present just like last years version :/ the controls are still out of wack coming from the 360 to the PC...the damn bumpers are still backwards...i dont understand this at all...i have Batman for the PC and the 360 controls are done correctly..they even HAVE the button graphics for it!!

EDIT: no custom music...well heres to modding...

                        Re: NBA 2K10 PC thread

This game runs very very nice. I am running at 1080 resolution, 60-80 FPS with AA turned all the way up. I had CPU VS. CPU for a game playing in the backbround as was finishing some work. Felt likel a real NBA game was going behind me, the sounds, sights commentary top notch. I have the game for XBOX, but the PC version looks so much better. I have the Xbox Controller for my WIN7 machine, it works I think. When I go into my controller it goes crazy though.

I dont want to brag about specs, since this is not the area to do so, but if anybody wants to know let me know and I'll post it them. I cant wait to get my controller going and get my association running.

um...are you SURE the processor will work with an am3 processor? I believe that the only am2+ compatible processor is the PII 920. maybe a bios update?

either way, great processor. How much was the combo?

Hey guys, I just got 2K for PC. Can anyone recommend to me the best controller setup - as in what buttons best correspond with the actions (I'm using a PS3 controller)? Thanks!
