q8400, 4 gigs of ram, GTS 250... max settings with 4x AA and im getting a solid 45-60 fps at all times.

after having played this on 360 for a week, the pc version is a lot better.

as long as ram is ddr2 800 or above, you can retain it. For $180, you get an awesome AM3 mobo and CPU.

          1680x1050

occasionally i get drops to 30, but its much better than console, and looks A LOT better as well. same monitor i was playing the 360 version on.

controls don't feel quite as tight as on the xbox, but that might be because im forced to use a PS3 controller, because my wireless receiver for the 360 controller won't work with vista x64

That's awesome. I think that's ABOUT what I'm getting as well, at exact same res. Are you by any chance using an Asus monitor? Also, how much did you pay for the GTS 250?

samsung. not sure how much the gts was, because i'm kind of ashamed to say (lmao) that i bought this computer prebuilt for $750 from newegg.

i built my last comp a few years ago in like 8th grade by hand that was nice for a few years (2 gigs of ram, amd 3700+, ati x1950 pro) but flash forward 4 years later and that computer was giving constant BSODs. i'm not sure exactly what happened to it, but i basically couldn't even install windows, or get to xp.

so i took the hdd out, bought an external enclosure, and bought a new comp :\

Eventually got it online. I called EB Games and the guy there at first told me that the game's not being released for PC. I insisted that it is, so he asked one of the guys there and the guy told him they might have it on the 14th (Wednesday). It's the second or third time that these guys tell me the game isn't being released for the PC. Just to show you that PC games get no love, especially basketball games...well it is Canada after all...

Anyway, I think 2K9 ran a litte better on my laptop. But ehh...still like it.

                      i just ordered an am2+ board with a phenom x3 720be

.. i know it uses ddr2 ram, but my ram is less than 800 i think, so it won't be compatible at all?

I found some bugs that needs to be addressed ASAP. first I can't trade in association because the game won't let me scroll through the teams, same thing with box scores after games. Also, Derrick Fisher's number is backwards!!

Yeah, I don't like it too. It was the same for me on 2K9, and happened several times that the player tried to shoot instead of hop-stepping, probably because I clicked it a bit too long. I wish I could assing it to another button, like it was for me when I played on the PS2.

How do you throw an alley oop in the pc version? Using a 360 controller btw. Thanks.

This game is running like a dream at 1700x1000 on my mid level system:

                              E8500 (3.16ghz) @ stock speed
                              ATI 4870 HD
                              4GB Ram

53% downloading from Steam after I decided no company was going to get this in today. Best Buy, Gamestop and Walmart all seemed confused about the idea of a PC game.....frustrating.

                                Hopefully Steam does the trick.
