Loooongtime OS reader, first post. I don't care about online skill points and all that...just let me play with my created player for as long as I want. We don't play 6 innings in The Show...if I want to play a complete game in 2k10, let me. It's all about choice in these games...let me adjust it to what I want.

Sign me up as well. I'm pretty much just a lurker around here, but I felt compelled to sign this as well. I'm mostly a College Hoops 2K fan, but the "My Player" mode had me intrigued enough that I was considering picking up the NBA game. Although with this news, I doubt I will unless a patch comes through.

If i can only play 5 minute quarters, then I simply wont play the mode. And that sucks, because I was really looking forward to this! Damn 2K?

8 minutes isn't good enough either, those who want to play 5 min should be able to play 5, those who want 12 should be able to play 12, etc.

I was going to pick 2k for the first time this year because of this mode...but this news sucks, definetley a mode killer. And if the developers made it this way because of online play, well that just annoys me to hell because i never play online.

Wouldn't it be easy to have a disclaimer somewhere in the mode that says if you edit the settings you can't play it online with that save file. That way those of us who want to change the setting to, you know, play 48 minute games in the nba, would be able to, without it affecting anyone else.
