Just saw an incredibly sick animation. J kidd was defending me and I am Deron. Kidd bodies me up and out of that animation I go left and then iso back right for a crossover and kidd almost does the splits and reaches. Then I nailed the J. sick sick sick sick. The king of animations baby !!!

ok i am having a ton of fun with this game also....but i am struggling alot with getting penetration in the lane with some of the best...i knew every move last year that anyone could possibly do..this year i am struggling really bad with the isomotion...if i could get this down to where i can get by a defender i would get good....but this is the only part that is killing me right now...any suggestions?

Also...on defense what slider or attribute will keep the guys from sagging off and leaving them wide open? they kill ya when there wide open, and the majority of the time they are...??

What do you think of the subtle things...rebounding, multiple blocks, 3 on 1 fast breaks, over the back fouls etc etc.

For me, this is what sets this game a fair way apart from the other one. There's so many things done well that are basketball fundamentals.

my lord ... why was I on a fast break with deron with brewer trailing me I pressed the fancy pass combo and there were two defenders between me and him... Why did deron throw the oop off the dam glass to him... oMg that was fresh.. he didn't catch it because of the body contact but THAT was an exciting play man.

love it. Its seasoned man. The one thing it took me awhile to get used to was the controls. They have next gen features and last gen controls man. If the controls were tight....shhhhhhhhhh.

must give credit where its due though they are the king of animations period undisputed. I would also add intangibles and hidden gems with that also. Its one of the advantages of staying with the same core for so long.

One of the disadvantages though appear to be that lack of control. Love the colors also. The presentation is so well pollished it's almost ridiculous

still having issues with CPU teammates.. I turned down that assist, and did almost every thing else to fix this. I cant play a game with stupid teammates, i just cant.. lead passes to the paint for DAYS... what am i doing wrong on a defensive front? play completely off ball?. just like last year, I leave my man for a second, and I get help defense on a non perimeter player on the perimeter, and as soon as that help comes, the CPU is lead passing for a dunk.

im really trying to look past this and have fun but its difficult.

I am thoroughly enjoying the game. There's almost too much good stuff happening to comment on it all.

I will say though, I came into this thinking the crowd would be a lot better than it is. Is it because I'm only playing exhibition games so far? After a Dwight Howard dunk to break a 4th quarter tie in Orlando, the crowd kind of just slowly escalated, rather than exploding. On many occasions they do not seem to react fully until the PA announcer has said the name of the guy who scored.

I'm a bit disappointed in the crowd noise myself. It's either too late or too subdued. This is an unfortunate trait of 2k games. Still, there is so many other great things going on to make up for this flaw.

all i can tell you bro is start controlling your PF and C once the ball crosses half court and start patrolling the paint. it should make a difference...

aside from that i just stop jumping from defender to defender and start controlling the defender on the best scoring threat or the PF/C in anticipation of a drive to the hoop or rebound...

I'm having a couple of issues with this game. Let me know if you've experienced this.

1. In triple threat, I hold down the LT and when I press the x button to shoot, my player dribbles. I have to use the shot stick exclusively out of the triple threat.

2. Pull up jumpers still seem too slow. Not the release, but the few steps they take before. It still lacks the explosion. The leaners and the drift shots feel great though.

LMAO! as much as I love Live this year, i can relate! i popped 2k in for the 1st time since release just to give Live a good run through (still playing it to death), but once i dropped 2k into the system it was like woooooh! coming up for air! lol... both games play completely different from one another. 2k just feels soooo open. i can moooove! 2k still has the high fg% which drives me nuts some times, but when i threw a alley oop off the backboard to D Wade... nuff said...
