I agree with everything you've stated Czar, and thanks for the well wishes..but I believe that going through that tedious process of testing sliders and player tendencies, the end result is more than worth it.

Also Citizen I don't see what you're talking about, as I definately notice the speed boost while using turbo with say, Lebron James than going full regular speed.

I also agree with FootballFanatics statement, it sounds as if people want to blow past the computer, and then have a close game at the end but inevitably(sp) pull out a win.

Well it doesn't always happen like that guys, but again, the game can be improved upon to your liking if you want to take the time to do so, if not, heck, your loss my friend.

And Lawless I wouldn't necessarily blame 2K for the cheesiness of online play. Only suggestion is to play private matches with people who enjoy the same type of game you do.

Any chance people who have a great time now with the game could post their adjustments?

I read a lot of the complaints and while they are legit for that person, I just don't think some people will ever find a happy medium. In the real NBA players miss assignments and give up 3's, not all teams are great defensively either. It's like some people want every team to play perfect shut down defense, superb by the book offense and never lose a game when you have the lead. I'm not bashing, because it's great to find out about some of the issues and then find the solutions like the double teaming problem that was fixed for me last week. I'm just saying watch and NBA game and tell me that 2k doesn't nail most of what happens in real and reall NBA game on the court.

Lowering the shooting down to 45 for both cpu and me

            Lowering alley oops to 20

Turning computer assist to 10 (controller option)

Has made this game great IMHO.

That's what I said but I was saying that if I do play people that plays like I play there's no thrill in it. It's like playing somebody next to you playing with the 2nd controller. I do blame 2K because they could've fixed this. They could've made raked lobbies (they did it in 2K8). Plus why is there still a clutch factor online? That means whoever is cheesing is the hot player and the other player can't catch up until the last quarter. That means that the hot player is the only one scoring and the shooting % is one sided. I could have wide open people shooting and laying up and nothing falls. I even made 2 half court shots in the final quarter and alot of putbacks that should've been in the previous quarters. Yes it's 2K's fault becuse this should've been recognized from 2K9 and fixed but they kept it in.

Another thing I'm noticing and liking is if my center ends up on the CPU point guard I can come over as the user point guard and the center will run back to guard his original man. I don't remember that happening so well in past 2k games. I switch who I'm guarding sometimes so this helps out big time.

I have neither of those issues so it might be time to lower your skill level or fine tune the sliders

sliders work great in this game and not many need tuning
I have no problem with the cpu being dominant realistically, but when they start lead passing to the paint, and backdoor cutting all day while my AI teammates act like ******s, somethings gotta be done. I already babysit them enough when they leave star players wide open to help for no reason. Personal preference I guess.

THIS Punt. This is bascially what I use...

except I havent touched the assist slider....and my CPU oop slider is on 0 (personal preference)

CPU gets open shots , but I never feel cheated about it....plus they dont make them all w\ the shooting sliders..which is.. realistic..

I guess I never see lead passing b\c I play w\ the center..doesnt happen at all to me when I use the center...in comparison to 2k9 where they would still try to throw it through you lol

Excellent presentation here, but damn is this game frustrating out of the box. I am playing as the Bulls and the few games that I played, the CPU doesn't seem to miss any shots no matter how much pressure I am placing on them and draining 3's like its no one's business. I'm playing on the default difficulty right now.

that sounds very acceptable... only a few tweaks.. shooting percentages are most important..

As I get more familar with the post game, the more i like it. Tapping the x button to initiate a post move then continuing to hold down the rt or lt has opened new combinatons for me. If I dont press the buttons at the right time, my players pivots in a circle and gets a 3 second call.

The auto post is inconsistent. There's only 24 seconds in the shot clock. Since time is of the essence, we need a post up button. Sometimes, my low post player decides instead of posting up, they're going to dribble in the low post. The post-up animation refuses to start. This can affect the cpu as well. They just start dribbling like idiots down low.
