I really appreciate that Kruza."Maybe I can't win. But to beat me, he's going to have to kill me. And to kill me, he's gonna have to have the heart to stand in front of me. And to do that, he's got to be willing to die himself. I don't know if he's ready to do that." -
Re: NBA2K10 Playbooks Thread....
I wouldn't make drastic changes from the default settings of these particular teams. Perhaps lower the Knicks Offensive Tempo and Fast Break settings to the 60-70 range since they play at a slower pace now than they had earlier in the season unless guys like Danilo Gallinari, Nate Robinson and Al Harrington gets really hot from outside.
The Bucks crash boards more frequently when reserves Hakim Warrick and Dan Gadzuric get on the floor. Their Offensive Tempo slider could probably be raised another 5-10 points as well. Brandon Jennings and Luke Ridnour will pretty much push the ball up and down the court except for the possessions that Andrew Bogut gets his touches down on the low block or whenever they wish to run high pick-and-roll plays.
And I wouldn't tinker with the Warriors coach profile settings at all.

Made some updates to the Bobcats and Celtics playbooks."Maybe I can't win. But to beat me, he's going to have to kill me. And to kill me, he's gonna have to have the heart to stand in front of me. And to do that, he's got to be willing to die himself. I don't know if he's ready to do that."Comment

Re: NBA2K10 Playbooks Thread....
"1-4 High" is the name of the particular set of the play. Baseline 1/2, Box, Flex 1-4, Motion 1-5, and Triangle 1-8 are the other set names.
What happened here is that in NBA 2K10 all the offensive plays are bunched up together in one list instead of being separated and categorized by set names in past NBA 2K games.

Re: NBA2K10 Playbooks Thread....
Rocky would it take anything away from the gameplay to just keep all teams run plays at 60 cuz my style of play is uptempo on the move quick time reactions not just scripted?Comment

Re: NBA2K10 Playbooks Thread....
I noticed that Rocky suggested "Run Plays" slider settings for the teams he posted playbooks for. Three that stood out to me were Suns- 60, Heat- 75, and Hornets- 80. Don't you think that teams with single players who are so ball-dominant should have a Run Plays setting at roughly 20 or below? Whereas teams that share the ball well like Utah, LAL and SA would have a high Run Plays.
It just seems like making their Run Plays that high would turn a Phoenix team into a Jerry Sloan-like offense, and that's not right.Comment

I think the suggested Run Plays slider settings are okay for these teams since they frequently run quick-developing Isolation plays and Pick-and-Roll plays for their respective ball-handling guards in real life. However, if long-developing plays that require numerous screens being set or the ball being moved to opposite ends of the court are being frequently called for these teams on NBA 2K10 instead, then I see your point.

I can take a look at the Magic as well. I assume you’re utilizing Rashard Lewis as a stretch PF.
