and to respond to you and the people that say the same thing... no where are we saying this is the most important thing. If they have the time to get shoes correct, or put wristbands on the correct players, then they have time to get the look of headbands correct.

Just because you dont care about accessories or details doesnt mean everyone else doesnt care. A lot of people complain about shoes not being correct because its something they notice. Same goes for the logo on Lebron's headband being on the side and not the way he really wears it. When you play your association as the Heat and see Lebron in replays and such and you see the headband wrong, it starts to bother you.

Is it nitpicking? A little. But if its something so minor then it shouldnt be hard to change it. All they have to do is give the option to switch it and then they dont even have to worry about putting it correctly on each player, those that want to can do it themselves.

And like i said before, none of us are saying its the most important thing in the world or that it should be the priority over more important things like gameplay, but enough people are making noise about those other aspects so whats the big deal with someone saying that the accessories arent correct?

im sorry but....really? It bothers you? I dont know man..it just seems a little out there to me..like..i honestly didnt know people paid attention to stuff like that...headbands/wristbands...ok thats koo...but logo placement and REAL minute things like that...to me thats just crazy. How can you even pay attention to those things on a player to that extent is beyond me.

I understand everybody has their own lil things they like...no problem with that..i was just saying i cant believe it lol.

People don't shoot like that. If catch the ball. Go up for a shot. And someone is closing out on you. You only do 2 things. You either keep shooting or you do a med air pass (to avoid traveling). No one holds the ball longer...then releases. You either shoot or you don't. You don't hold yourself a second longer in the air for a better shot.

u dont pump fake jumpshots when somebody is about to block? I mean..thats pretty common man..alot of people do it. Im pretty sure thats what they guy is getting at. Basically..adjusting your shot...you're holding it longer and adjusting to get the shot off.

I definitely see where Jeebs is coming from. I see players pump fake while they're still grounded. I see players double clutch when swooping in for layups. I see players sometimes releasing the ball quickly when beating the shot clock or end of quarter buzzer. I do not see players rise for a mid range jumpshot, recognize a shot blocker is coming, then hang on to the ball as they begin to descend before releasing. Nor do I see them deciding to double-pump only after they've left the ground.

I understand how the adjustable-timed release might be necessary in a video game though.

Exactly!!! No one holds themselves in the air for a few seconds longer to aviod contest or wait for a better shot.

This is a great post. It has been stated in the past that the attention to detail in the Jordan Challenge thread has been regularly monitered by developers so obviously it is something important. It is the little things that add to the over all immersion in the game. Ironically 2K used to be the game for accessories in early installments even down to custom accessories for certain players also being an innovater in player likenesses and paying attention to replicating every NBA players tattoos.

It's like the 2k devs just made a huge list from all the suggestions and complaints about 2k10 and have just been checking them off one by one.

I wish all sports game developers paid this much attention to the needs and wants of their most loyal consumers.
