Those two handed dunks by Marion bothered me too. The fact that James is so easy to beat baseline is something that Visual Concepts will probably see and do soemthing about. I'm more worried about the dunk itself. He dunked on Wade and LeBron. Thats like a top ten plays of the season ruteinly done by someone that didnt even know how to play the game well. Wade makes contact with him and there is no deterance at all. He didn't even change it to a one handed dunk. James has a decent angle and does nothing but jump up with no real awareness, aggression, pr physicality.

The other two handed dunk :20 was worse...

For example, Shawn Marion hitting that tough under basket contested shot doesn't mean you'll hit a high % of those types of shots over the course of a game.

The fact that you saw a couple of baseline dunks (against very poor defense at that), doesn't mean it's easy to go baseline all the time.

There were a couple of thread the needle passes that snuck by the defense. Again, that's very rare over the course of a game.

i just found it funny that so many (supposedly) freak occurrences managed to happen in such a short amount of footage

The excessive hooks in past versions bothered me as well. Thankfully, they don't play off with any regularity this year. In fact, I can't remember the last time I saw that shot play.

Another thing to remember is that you can't extrapolate from a 2-min. clip how an entire game will play out. For example, Shawn Marion hitting that tough under basket contested shot doesn't mean you'll hit a high % of those types of shots over the course of a game. It actually feels like the opposite is true. If I make a shot like that I consider myself very lucky. The fact that you saw a couple of baseline dunks (against very poor defense at that), doesn't mean it's easy to go baseline all the time. It's so sad that these leaked GC videos are the first look you guys get at 5-on-5 gameplay. We captured some videos yesterday for marketing. Hopefully we'll be able to get you something more indicative of what the game actually plays like when it's not your first time on the sticks.

I dont think that game was being played on simulation. So that might explain all the random crap we were seeing. Overall, the game looks great and much more improved than 2k10. Also whoever the user was in that video, was playing like a noob. The CPU tore him up because he didnt play a shred of defense.
