Start with the Warriors, trade Biedrins for Robin Lopez, trade Monta for Rudy Fernandez, and trade for Grant Hill. Also try to get Ronny Turiaf back as my backup C, or Brad Miller. Hopefully with the caproom from getting rid of them, I'll be able to sign a younger SF in the future to go with Curry and Lee

I've been playing Nba 2k since 2k3, and every year I go into the season thinking, "this will finally be the year...I will play all 82 games!" Then, invariably around game 20-22 I get bored, look at the standings, see that my team is on pace for 60 wins, and sim the rest of the season or just start up a new 'chise.

Are there any good tips I should follow from any of the 82 game season veterans? Most of the time I play online or exhibition because it has updated rosters but this year it will be different. Also, is it better to play your franchise as the season progresses on the actual day, or not - should I try to match my team's won/loss record or rewrite history. Thanks in advanced, all I know is that October 5th 2010 will go down as one of the greatest days in sports gaming history.

Man I play 29 games, I see no reason to play 82. I am just not a 100% diehard NBA fan to begin with.

Just checked my off days, I'm already off the 5th & 6th...HOORAY! I'll be playing this game ALL DAY LONG. My gf will be pissed lol

I have played the full 82 back on 2k9 it took forever got through a season an a half I would suggest using your favorite team to me its more fun if you use your team especially if your team isn't good cause you can rebuild them last year i used my team (sixers) it was worth the time

I have a bit of the same problem, sometimes I get frustrated or my numbers don't seem in line or there is that breakout player/team that is the new flavor of the day that you want to use. With all the changes that look to improve the game I will be hard pressed to not finish all 82 this year. I'm not really sure who to go with though, I usually like a team with at least one young promising piece and moving from there. Anyone have suggestions?

I'm still a bit peeved that the 2K devs haven't included the option to run the association with real simulated scores for non user games (a la LIVE 10's Dynamic Season, there's a video here: http://nba-live.easports.com/feature...n?platform=ps3).

Anyway- I am conteplating running either with the 92 Bulls, or with the Jazz having a 3 man bigs rotation like last year, but I am not sure if I'll put Big Al as my starting C with millsap at PF or at the PF with Okur starting at C. also I plan on developing Hayward into a sharpshooting SF while still giving C.J. Miles quality minutes at the 2 and 3 spots.

As I would like it the most if my association mimiced real life, I will probably stay away from trades.

Alternativley I will choose the Nets and maybe try to bring Captain Kirk on board.

Man I would never want that feature, Dynamic Season.

I want my association to be just that, my association. If I have a guy go down with an injury in my association that's what happens.

However, that's just my take.

I respect your take.
But for me, seeing final standings that are miles away from the real season detracts a lot from the experience. to me, the best way to play out an association is having my actions and scores as the only difference between the real season and the one in the game, meaning that all real life trades and injuries (yes, even to MY user controlled team) are reflected in the association.
Just my 2c's.

I plsn on taking Celts for a long run association, first as a contender than for a rebuilding team.

But other than this, the depth in association makes my mind blurry and it sounds like an absolute cracker, 5th october to go, can't wait!

I thought of that 2. Might do an association and trade Ray for Wes Johnson and a nxt yr 2nd or 1st for Paul George (dude is a serious sleeper)

why you want to get rid of iggy he plays defense an is a good slasher I wouldn't pick up noah because i would develop hawes this year i'm trading elton brand for david west

Contracts, and I want tp build around the young players we have.

Give Young a starting spot at SF instead of PF which he have been playing irl for a couple years

My projected lineup looks like this after the deadline (assuming I dont get a starter in return for Iggy (draft pick(s) bench player(s) would be good)

I also plan on getting rid of Brand in the Offseason, if I could get rid of Brand and Iggy without bringing back big contracts (I rather have expiring) then Im going to pull the trigger.

Plus I dont see myself winning every game and I want Iggy to be apart of a contending team instead of a young up and coming team.

Also Turner, Young and Iggy is kind of redundant...

But at the end of the day I might end up keeping him for awhile...I have to get rid of Brand tho
