      I only have a 70 Block rating and a 40 vertical
I only focused on Low Post and Strength so far

My pf has 99 vert and 99 blocks and i must say the "OMG WTF" blocks happen alot more then i thought they would...

My favorite block is when a tall person (roy hibbert or yao ming) try to do a sky hook on me and my player just leaps like a god...he always either smacks it 10 rows deep or just palms it back down....so awsome

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)

Been reading this thread for a while but just now decided to sign up. 6'7 point guard in my third season and modeling my gameplay after Shaun Livingston, before he got hurt. Simmed a bunch of my first and second year to keep it realistic because really, what rookie drafted 20th overall can just dominate the league right off the bat? It was also interesting seeing how my player would do if he was left on his own w/o my help. Anyway, my first season was with the Spurs and it was hell there!! When I did play, Manu chucking 3 after 3 was

Decided to leave after that and go to Portland in my second season. I thought having Wallace, Roy, and Aldridge would be a dream come true for my point guard, but nope... Having Roy bring the ball up every time down the court and chucking up shot after shot was also hell. Only person who can hit a shot to save his life is Aldridge, and that wasn't enough to keep me there.

Now I'm with the Clippers and I am LOVING having Kaman and Griffin on my team. Dudes are flat out beasts. Pick n roll, post ups, spot up shooting...they're deadly from all of them. Not to mention Griffin has transformed from a great rookie to a monster in his third year. He's a 93 and has an 82 mid and its like Stockton-Malone all over again.
I play on all star/default (used to be HOF sim...ew) and the gameplay is sooo much more realistic, especially since the CPU is not God-like. I play 9 minute quarters and averaging 17 points and 9 assists. (I like running the plays instead and keeping the game realistic instead of just stat-whoring). We are 3-3 so far with me missing 2 of our losses from back spasms. Loving it so far here in Clipperland though

haha i just got that animation last night. my guy jumped up and two handed stole a jumper from rudy gay. i have it saved, i'll make a vid of it later

and yeah, as far as the stat caps go, it kind of makes me sad that my vertical max out at 90 and my speed at 75. but i guess thats what happens when your 7'5. you can only run and jump so much!

I definitely need to boost Shot Inside and Close, Shot in Traffic. Even though I maxed Shoot Low Post, I can only make short post shots. I am currently at 78 strength, I will boost it to 90 and stop right there so I can back people down and dont get back down

I started out the season as the starting Center. I am glad because my first Key Game is my next game which is my 5th game.

oh well...still averaged close to the same as the last 3 seasons in scoring(30.7ppg), rebounding(12.6rpg), steals(5spg) and blocks(0.6bpg).

suffice it to say i simulated the playoffs...

                    round 1: spurs(4-0)
                    round 2: warriors(4-3)
                    round 3: grizzlies(4-3)
                    finals: bulls(4-3)

met the bulls in last season's nba finals too...it's like a new rivalry between the two franchises...my current team vs. the team that drafted me....my player vs. derrick rose...

                    milestones this season:
                    -got my 5th nba championship
                    -10,000 career points
                    -5,000 career assists

                    accomplishments:
                    -scoring leader: 4x
                    -rebounding leader: 4x
                    -assist leader: 5x
                    -steal leader: 4x
                    -all-nba 1st team: 5x
                    -all-defensive 1st team: 4x
                    -mvp: 5x
-defensive player of the year: 4x

im proud to say that i got demarcus cousins(1st appearance), kevin love(1st appearance) and tyreke evans into the all-star game....demarcus cousins is the new league leader in blocks and tyreke evans led the league in minutes played for the second time...

kevin love didnt quite get 10rpg(last season) but had 9.2rpg due to the emergence of demarcus cousins and the minutes alloted to cousins(33 minutes compared to 9 minutes last season) who had 7rpg himself this season...***doesnt help that i also eat the glass with 12.6rpg for my own player....

andre padgett...my cpu generated starting SF was in the mix for most improved player but didnt quite win it...he averaged a good 13ppg or so

so after the playoffs...i thought tim duncan would retire(even mentioned on the news/headlines during the regular season) after he got his 6th ring but nope...he signed with denver along with my backup PG/sixth man christain joseph(cpu generated)

we acquired ted scott(cpu generated) from the warriors and drafted a few more players at the SF and PF positions

caron butler is still on my team and is still listed in the trade rumor...please move him

coach gregg popovich somehow didnt stay with my team even though he won coach of the year...he's now with the jazz while i have a new coach in matthew hammond or something

also, they didnt even bother asking what players i wanted during the off-season when i chose to re-sign with the kings....maybe because my salary cap was in the negative(-$22M or something, not even sure how that's possible)

                    retired players/hall of fame 2015:
-kobe bryant(lakers didnt make the playoffs for the first time this season, they lost phil jackson a long time ago)
                    -tracy mcgrady
                    -dirk nowitzki

                    notable transactions in the offseason:
                    -chris bosh - bulls
                    -tony parker - hawks
                    -carlos boozer - hornets
-kevin durant - heat(i knew his contract was up but WTF?)
                    -j.r. smith - raptors
                    -tyrus thomas - spurs

anyway...on to my 6th season and looking for a three-peat with the kings for my 6th championship ring

                    upcoming milestone:
                    -5x all-star selection

                    remaining milestone:
                    -500 games played(7th season)
                    -1000 games played(crazy)
                    -7500 career assists(7th season)
                    -2500 career steals(crazy)
                    -20,000 career points(crazy)
                    -30,000 career points(crazy)
                    -38,388 career points(crazy)

if you read this whole thing(crazy)
Enigma, buddy, you are crazy lol. Hey at least you are enjoying the game and you are successful at it. It's kind of hard for me to continue the mode when I've been struggling to get a good win streak going (You guys are talking about getting 3+ straight championships while I'm not even in contention to make the playoffs). With you having so many steals per season, I'm guessing that's where my missing points are, along with assists. I rarely get any kind of steals, only because after a couple of failed attempts, I just leave it alone. When I look at my stats, I have the least amount of personal fouls every game. I rarely foul in this game. I guess that's what I'm going to do from now on. Get extra aggressive and hope I can get some steals, fast breaks and more opportunities. For me, it's real easy to score, and block and nail 3s in the game, and I try to really get my team involved by not hogging the ball, but for whatever reason I struggle. Haven't played in a while, but I'm going to pop it in tonight and see what happens.

With this current MP mode, the only way to really even get in a winning streak is having to score 40+ and dont turnover the ball. My other MP is a 3pt SG I play for the Suns, ever since I got there I havent lose a game in 10 games if I wouldnt have sim games we would have never lose.
The key to success in MP is to actually fit in with your team playstyle. My SG fits in with the Suns because of 3pt abilty, even my teammates actually scores consistently. My C fits in with the Wolves because of size. I think I can actually win the Championship my first year with the Suns mainly because I fully fit their playstyle

thats what i noticed also. when i try to push the game w/ my center and demand the ball and go for big blocks instead of staying back, grabbing boards and boxing my guy out, the team has a tendency to do poorly and lose. if i play within the confines of my team, i'll usually still avg 30 pts, 18 boards and 14 blocks. sure there will be some bad possessions where the computer jacks up crazy arse shots but overall in the grand scheme of the game it will balance out and well get the win if i play within the style of my team

Even though we are 3-1, I do need to play more agressively on Defense.
i only worry about getting rebounds, so I only get 20 mins a game even though I am a starter.

How do I get more assists?
I pass the ball but unless the guy shoots right away and scores I don't get anything, I passed to the center, he did 1 post move before shooting and scoring and I didn't get anything

I follow the instructions, I press the icon pass button, hold RB button down and try to move the other player but he doesn't move, he just stands there, and when I try to pass the ball my player just holds onto the ball and I get that hold ball too long bull**** !

I follow the instructions, I press the icon pass button, hold RB button down and try to move the other player but he doesn't move, he just stands there, and when I try to pass the ball my player just holds onto the ball and I get that hold ball too long bull**** !

i have run into the same issue. On my MP i was drafted first round by the thunder. I am a SF thinking of asking for a trade after my 5 games. dont really wanna play under durant. so far ive only played one season game. with a measely 2 points 5 rebounds. 1 assist and 1 steal. 1 foul but it was either that or they were gna get another fast break points, as we were down 12 at that time.
