if u go to team info and schedule. the key games have the corners of the calendar date highlighted in yellow...it's hard to explain but i noticed the highlight aroundgames i assumed were key and than they ended up being key games.

Yo, I've been lurking throughout the thread and I was wondering if there was any solution to the cpu AI's abysmal play. This inludes my teammates AI mostly. If I see one more 22% shooting day from my squad Imma kill myself.

Is there a different difficulty to play on to get them to shoot better. From the looks of it, I need to put on a Jason Terry-esq performance every night for my team to have a shot at winning. I play poorly, they play poorly.

        Any solutions?

              Your behind B.Roy.
What type of SG are you? It is good to play similar to their style of play. When I played with my SG with the Suns, We great because I was a 3pt SG.

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)

I know what you mean. It seems that I need to score like 60 points per game to win at times.

                Superstar on Heat. 99OVR SF.

Some games the Heat will play like the Heat. James hits jumpers and dunks, Wade hits 3s and slashes for and ones, Bosh dunks and hits mid-range jumpers.
Those games I only score like 45pts, but have around 17 assists and 15 rebounds, and they have 20+ points each, and we win by 20+.
Other games they just are terrible. Wade chucks up 3s and misses, Bosh is a non factor, LeBron misses jumpers all day, and I have to turn it on and score 60+ to keep it close, until hopefully the Heat play like the Heat and we win big.
These games I score like 70points, and 8 assists and 13 rebounds. More points, but less other numbers, also worse shooting since I can't just pass to the Big Three if i'm not wide open.

One game we lost Wade shot 5-15, LeBron shot 6-17, for a combined 11 of 32, or roughly 34% shooting, while bench players shoot like 70 percent on the other team.

I can always play on All-Star, where we all dominate, hit 75% of our shots, and win by 45 points and block a quarter of their shots, but that is just no fun.
But the jump to superstar can be brutal, not so much with offense, I can score at will, and overall my teammates are very good (the HEAT, so that is expected), but the other team is just too good. They have some 74 overall bench forward who scores all day on fadeaway 3s and Wade style drives.

I'm starting SG, I think they moved Roy to SF and Miller is still the PG. I'm more of a slashing type SG with a medium ranged jumper. No 3pt skills yet.

Re: Your Myplayer Career (NBA 2K11)

Ive been on a scoring streak. Ive score at least 40 points-10assist-8 rbs since the All Star break. I only attempt 19-25 shots a game. I dont really have to score 40+ a game to win. As long as I can keep my TOs under 5(kinda hard for me), we can win. I try to get my PF and C to have 15+. I get alot of assists. I try to have at least 5-7 teammates over 5 Points.
I just got a 20 point game out of Shawn Marion(we traded for him). I wanted him off my team, But if I am able to get at least 10 points out of him a game, I can play with him

I try to establish great Defense. Another key to have better success, Try to win to Rebound matchup.
Try to get Brandon Roy to his good spots. I think it is best to know where your teammates hotspots.
Even though We(Nets) lead in FG% and I avg 11+ Assists, I dont pass to anyone that I dont feel confident in. I dont even run plays, I only call plays for my Sharpshooter on plays where they catch and shoot. You cannot rely on your Teammates to jumpshoot. I sugesst giving them easy shots to take to get them hot. My second leading scorer prolly only avg 12 points, but I have multiple guys over 8.

Does anyone happen to know what type of PG and SG provide for the highest touches and shot tendencies?? Is it the Scoring type for both??

It sucks cause they run only about 40% of the offense through me. Meaning I become PG at times. Other times I just have to be patient and go to my blue spots on the court to get the offense to run. There is always a stretch of the game where my teammates chuck up shots like its no tomm. Only thing I can do is try to get boards so I can create some offense.

Does raising the difficulty make the AI play smarter? I noticed when I made the switch from Pro to All Star, the cpu AI became more fierce. My teammates still show lack of efford on D and can build skyscrappers full of bricks.

Made the All-Star team as a rookie with the Pacers!

Right now I think we're gonna be in the playoffs. It's a fight for the 4th spot though.

bah, just played the allstar game and lost by 4 points. 110-106
bron and wade had a whopping 8 and 7 points respectively

sadly i didnt get to start the allstar game despite beating everyone in the league by almost 3 million votes

                                Ain't that the truth.

I'm on the Wizards and just cracked the starting rotation. Rashard Lewis just came back from an injury and is his first 3 games back he went 4-47 from the field including an amazing 0-20 performance in his second game.
