baseball, I understand what you are talking about with the jaggies and the colors washed out on the ps3 version, but let me offer a solution I believe I have found. I have a 50 inch Panasonic Plasma, and what I did was sit farther back from the tv, but at a comfortable distance, and to alleviate the somewhat bland graphics, I cranked up the RGB Color Range to full, and I could immediately tell a big difference, It was alot more vivid like the xbox. You should try this, I think it may make things more aesthetic for you.

Could we stop talking about PS3 vs 360 here? It's more interesting to actually find out about gameplay enhancement then talk about which court is the shiniest in which version. What we know so far about NBA 2K14 - FAQ/QA:

My thoughts on how replays should be handled:

Another note: It really does look somewhat ugly if you sit too close to the tv, but with a good distance and the rgb on full, I think this game rivals the show aesthetically. Tell me what you think...Comment

But seriously, my PS3 demo looks very bright and vibrant. I havent seen what the 360's look like for real, so I can't really imagine what the differences are.
But even in the youtube videos, the lack of reflections on the floor and the on-court player talk being missing are very noticable.Comment

Re: NBA 2K11 Q&A (Those That Have it Early, Confirmed)
So be prepare to be further disappointed, though this is an issue for both consoles.
Likewise, I am disappointed. It took me a while to decide on 2K11. To prepare to learn the controls and get into the game. I've heard and seen so many good stuff that I was really starting to get very interested.
I'm used to the PS3 being neglected, but when the differences are this big, it is hard to take out that $60 and pay with a smile, knowing that it is so much better on the 360, knowing that i'd be willingly purchasing an unnecessarily-inferior version...
This might as well have been a 360 exclusive. All the videos and advertising images were from that version anyway. All the nice things I have seen, they are on 360.
Had I not been coming to OS, I would probably have missed this. I'd be in a rude awakening after I buy 2k11 on PS3 and popped the disc in. Just to realize the differences are this big.
In a way, this feels like a bait and switch. They show me 360 stuff, and sell me the PS3 stuff that is way inferior. One could probably sue in a different scenario or industry. But gaming? This is just another thing we have to endure.Comment

baseballguy, can you confirm that Andrew Bogut, ingame, has hair this time? Instead of having shaved? lolComment

What is it that makes jaggies so intolerable, I hate them with a passion though, and shimmering. You would honestly think such a small yet noticeable thing like that would easily be corrected, I wonder if its really that hard to smooth it out, unfortunately you can also blame the ps3's pos 2x AA. 2k ports are the worst, mafia 2 comes to mind.Comment

Re: NBA 2K11 Q&A (Those That Have it Early, Confirmed)
Yea baseball, try it out, and let me know if it makes a difference. you probably already know, but you should also have your tv's sharpness low, another solution is switching to a darker setting on your tv, or in the game.the the brighter it is the more noticeable it will be Jaggies are at their worst on the vivid setting on your Hdtv. When you darken the picture, your not gonna notice any jaggies, your eyes cannot see them. I learned these techniques because of mafia 2s ugly port. There are ways work around jaggies, if it bothers you like me. I hope this helped.Comment

Re: NBA 2K11 Q&A (Those That Have it Early, Confirmed)
Its odd that the generic players on classic teams can't be edited. Mike Wang mention that we can edit them and someone else also. If that's the case I want to see a patch for this, and a patch to fix the PS3 framereate possible issue. On other forums from people that played the PS3 version they said it looks good, so IDK.Comment
