Re: Will You Use Real Player % Or Shot Stick Timing?
Someone mentioned for online leagues , real % is not a option which is TRUE !
Please patch this as if you know the timing of a horrible free throw shooter, you can go close to %100.Comment

Re: Will You Use Real Player % Or Shot Stick Timing?
but now i can hardly make anything. with real % on, you to hold the stick until you are at the very peak of ur jump rather than when the person actually releases the ball when using the shot stick.

Re: Will You Use Real Player % Or Shot Stick Timing?
Guys, it's been said before by the guys who even make the game:
Real FG% and Real FT% does not take shot stick into account at all.
Seriously. Anything else you think you see when you use the shot stick in real % is not really happening."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Re: Will You Use Real Player % Or Shot Stick Timing?
Again and again:
Shot Stick Timing
With this option turned ON, as the name implies, your timing release will be factored in to your shot %. It's layered on top of the player's Shot Rating, type of shot taken (jumper, drifter, leaner, etc), defense impact, etc. Being really late or really early on your release will have negative impact, and being perfect on your release will give you an added boost in making the shot.
Real Player %
When you turn this ON, it's basically ignoring your release on the Shotstick completely. You won't get penalized for early or late releases. The same factors come into play as mentioned above, sans the stick release bonus/penalty. Pretty much how Real FT % works. We simply migrated the feature over to all the shots as well.Comment

Re: Will You Use Real Player % Or Shot Stick Timing?
You don't understand the concept of this one bit. It is not letting the game play for you lol. Stop saying that.. Your giving the wrong impression of the option. You should saying. "I want the users to be more influential on shot success (not the players)"... That's all lol.... Letting players shooting rating does not mean the game plays by it self lol...
My friend hit 3 med range fade away jumpers with Rondo the other night....lol I was like "Enough of that..." I've also notice alot of those BS fade away 3's don't go in as much on real player% (almost at all)Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

Re: Will You Use Real Player % Or Shot Stick Timing?
^^^^ and there u have it folks which just proves my point mentioned earlier that real player% is not skilled determination but porbability base calculation with no penalty for human input.....so ur offense doesnt take much of a hit and the outcome is more determine by who plays the best defense becasue offense is a roll of the dice base on team/players ur playing with...
and again with real FT% about ppl saying the hit 100% of bad shots with guys like shak because they know his release....try moving the FT slider closer to 100 and watch as u have to focus at the line like in real life casue it seems that the closer to 100 a little too early and little too late FT dont hit at all.and for a little added difficulty take off FT help that gives info on if shot was too early or late and u have to take adjustment on missed shots by ur own judgementHumans fear what they dont understand, hate what they cant concur i guess its just the theory of manComment

Re: Will You Use Real Player % Or Shot Stick Timing?
No you are letting the game play for you...when it comes to jump shooting you are not doing any work at all you are letting the CPU basically decide and time your shots. 2k games have never been about that for me. I dont care about some FG% stat . Playing with RFG% feels like i might as well just sim all the games .You dont have to practice shots anybody can just jump right in and shoot 3 's at will with Kobe on RFG%..and once again You must be talking about ONLINE stuff because the OFFLINE they CPU has NEVER hit a fadeaway 3 with rondo on me. I play off rondo the whole game when i play the celtics they are one of the easiest teams for me to play against...Maybe that patch changed gameplay but it does none of that offline for me.SLIDERS SUCKComment
